Thinkpad T495s Type 20QK Bios bin needed

    Hello Everyone,

i have an Lenovo Thinkpad T495s Type 20QK with a
    Board FA391/FA491 NM-C181 Rev. 1.0 2019-03-21
and a Bios Chip from Winbond W25Q128FV 1.8v

Before my programmer came i tried to short the BIOS CHIP to overcome the Bios Password which resulted in a failure my Laptop has now a blackscreen and a musical tone.

Now i got a CH 341a mini Programmer with 1.8v Adapter i dumped the CHIP with AsProgrammer and NeoProgrammer than i tried to take a BIOS Update from the Website and Short it like in some Tutorials described to get it down to 16 MB but after Programming it to the Bios Chip now i have Only Blackscreen and the CPU gets HOT and the FAN only works for a sec on power on then turns off even after Programming the dumped Bins back.

I hope someone can help me.

    Thanks in Advance

I read the BIOS file with CH341a Programmer and saved it
After following the instructions LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal
                To patched bios file
i get patched file bin and programing it
Then I opened the computer Black screen and Has 4 short beeps With the cooling fan stopped
After that, I back to the original file that I checked out and saved
now works as before with the supervisor password
I repeated the steps but the same result
                please i need help
                thanxx

Hi. Have the same MoBo & PC Model (T495s). After applying prepatched T495s EgyFix, I follow steps but doesn't work (after flashing original BIOS, computer's still asking for password). Can I post my files (w/computer serial of course) to get it patched?

                                  Hello,
first of all my request: I´m in desperate need of a compatible .bin-file to flash the Thunderbolt controller of the laptop of my girlfriend.

                                  As for the explanation:

All started after I updated the BIOS for this laptop via the official Lenovo System Update tool. Afte around 30 seconds after the update the laptop went off and wouldnt start again. After lots of research and ordering myself a CH431a programmer, I revived it by flashing the BIOS chip with a suitable .bin-file I found on the Internet. The laptop is working now again, but I have the problem that, upon startup, it says "The conncted AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter wich was shiped with the system. To use AC power, please connect the AC adapter wich was shipped with the system. Press ESC key to continue."
I obviously use the original 65W Adapter and also tried a few others (all 65W Lenovo chargers). With the Lenovo Vantage tool I could figure out that the laptop only charges with 15W. And a USB-C to LAN adapter isnt working aswell (also original Lenovo). So my best guess is, that, in process of flashing the BIOS chip, I somehow bricked the USB-C controller. I could get the original image from the chip, wich is 1MB (1.048.576 Bytes). But the file I could get from the Lenovo website is only 40KB (40.960 Bytes). Is there any way to resize the file from Lenovo or can somebody provide a suitable file?
If there are more informatiosn needed just let me know.

                                  Thanks in advance
