    Thats a capacitor which is completely burntout. You need to desolder this cap first and then check to which pwm is that cap connected. Most likely ,that pwm+mosfets if any connected to that circuit -they all need to replaced.

            What is the mb code?? Schematic available?? Proceed to remove those burnt caps first. Apply flux on that area, put some solder with soldering iron first and then apply flux again and use hot air gun to remove them one by one. Once removed, clean the pads and if necesaary re-build the pads and proceed to measure resistance on those caps.

                My model is different, but I believe it makes sense to share this in this thread. I found similar damage on my 650 G2 on the CIRCUS-6050A2723701-MB-A02 board, and I’m leaving these photos here.

                  Hello Guys

                  I have a ASUS Rog strix laptop that I bought recently to fix and the previous owner spilled water on it . He brought it into a repair shop for them to check it out and instead of fixing it they damaged the battery connector of the laptop ! Other than that they damaged damaged nothing . But since the liquid damage the laptop only turns on and the keyboard lights up and then immediately turns off. I really want to repair this laptop and I also have experience in repairing phones etc and laptops and a bit of soldering but the diagnosing part is where I need help with and...

                  Identification of Component T5 on NEXIQ USB-Link 2 (damaged due to crushing)
                  by Tomylee
                  Hi everyone,
                  I'm currently repairing a NEXIQ USB-Link 2 that was physically damaged due to crushing. After a thorough inspection, it appears that only one component is visibly damaged: the T5 component, located right next to the Mini-USB port.

                  It's a 4-pin SMD component, with one pin at each corner, aligned front-to-back along the USB port axis. Unfortunately, it is broken, and there are no visible markings left on the part to identify it.

                  I'm looking for help with the following:

                  The exact identification or part number of the T5 component
                  ...

                  LG 50PA6500 Plasma TV damaged after a power spike
                  by tofik
                  Hello, I have an LG 50PA6500 Plasma TV, purchased new in 2012.
                  Unfortunately plasma is not working at all after a power spike.

                  Qucikly tested the PSU and voltages seems to be okay, when eveything is disconntected from the PSU I got:
                  VS = 200-206 / actual = 205 V,
                  VA = 55 / actual = 54.9 V,
                  M5V = 5.2 / actual = 5.19 V,

                  17 = 17.24 V,
                  5.2 = 5.19 V,
                  STDBY = 5.19 V,
                  ERROR_DET = 4.8 V - does it mean PSU is damaged? the rest of the voltages seems to be fine.
                  what's your opinion about the PSU?

                  Also I just...

                  No LCD image after connector replacement – lifted components and damaged resistor (Nintendo Switch Lite HDH-CPU-02)
                  by Tomylee
                  Hi everyone,

                  Sorry for the person who’s going to read all this !
                  I'm on a Nintendo Switch Lite, motherboard HDH-CPU-02.

                  While replacing the left joystick, I had to remove the motherboard to access the connector underneath. When I lifted the LCD connector latch, it broke (the plastic had become brittle over time), so I replaced the entire connector.

                  During the desoldering of the LCD connector using hot air, three small components located just below the connector (likely 0402 capacitors) came off and remained stuck to the bottom of the...
