Hi all,
History: Laptop came in for not working off the battery, it does charge battery and communicates with battery. 2 new batteries replaced, same issue. It would turn on, see battery % correctly but will turn off when disconnected from DC charger.
After fiddling around for a while, I made it worse, now it does not power on, but still charges battery.
I have done my best to include resistance readings + V readings as well as video showing Amp readings during boot process + thermal camera imaging of the area getting warm which I think is normal behavior, along with links to my repair attempts of the original issue.
Your help will be made public and will help others.
