Can you toggle the caps key LED? If yes, then the OS has booted and you are at the login screen.

Have you attempted to mate with another macbook using the 'T' key upon power up? This should allow you to target this laptop for remote data recovery.

thanks mon for answering, but isnt it clear that 0 ohm in PVDDIOMEMGPU, PPSOC_S0_GPU and PPGFX tell us that the discrete GPU is dead?
sadly i dont have another macbook in my place, so i couldnt test that + i dont need the data btw. i will check if capslock LED respond or not. but i guess it wouldnt because the short make the PGOOD signal not come up. just guessing

Yes, GPU may be dead. GPU rails will have a very low resistance to ground, by design but if 0R, most likely dead. Touch your meter probes together. What is the resistance? Is this the same resistance you are measuring on the GPU power rail(s)?

        20v 3.8 amps
Do you see this current spike to 3.8A immediately or climbs up to this value?

my touched probes is 00.00ohm in resistance mode, and 0.000v in diode mode. it is uni t ut60s. yeah, it same as measuring GPU and VRAM rail.
the current climbing slowly to 3.8amps if battery connected. if not connected, it will go from 5v, then 20v 0.0 amps up to 0.4amps, then goes down to 0.07amps, then 0.00amps 20v

Make sure you check for SSD damage/death--super common on these and will give you 20v/low amps with trackpad click. Make sure the trackpad clicks fully for 30 seconds and make sure board isn't actually cycling on ~21 second intervals (a very common indication of SSD issues). If SSDs are toast, you may not be getting the data from them, so check carefully.

hi ugamazing, thanks for answering. but i dont need the data. i just need to make sure this macbook can turn on and usable even without discrete GPU. thanks for the suggestion
