    HP 250 G5 / BDL50 LA-D704P missing ACOK

Hi i have problem with HP 250 G5 / BDL50 LA-D704P no power / no light on charger led, the same problem with charged battery.

I measured the following voltages with charger and without battery, i believe voltages is correct except ACOK.

    Pin 1 ACN : 19,4V
    Pin 2 ACP : 19,4V
    Pin 3 GMSRC : 19,4V
    Pin 4 ACDRV : 25,2V
    Pin 5 ACOK : 0V
    Pin 6 ACDET : 2,6V
    Pin 7 IOUT : 0V
    Pin 8 SDA : 0V
    Pin 9 SCL : 0V
    Pin 10 ILIM : 0V
    Pin 11 BATDRV : 0V
    Pin 12 SRN : 3,1V
    Pin 13 SRP : 3,1V
    Pin 14 GND : 0V
    Pin 15 LODRV : 0V
    Pin 16 REGN : 6V
    Pin 17 BTST : 5,8V
    Pin 18 HIDRV : 3,1V
    Pin 19 PHASSE : 3,1V
    Pin 20 VCC : 19V

Also, pins 8 & 9 are floating. This implies your always on rail is not working.

Trace the pull up resistors to the always on rail and confirm that voltage rail is enabled. You could have a bad cap on that rail. A very common fault.

The ACOK likely is also pulled up to the same faulty rail so is showing 0v.

+3V LDO is missing as @mon2 has advised. Findit out and check resistance on +3V LDO.

+3V LDO produced from PU2 (RT8243AZQW) ? if so i get this values on PU2

        Pin 11 VIN: 19,5V
        Pin 12 ENLDO : 4,48V

        all other pins has 0V

Post the voltage on pin #15 (+3VL) of PU2.

From your last post, PU2 may be defective.

Remove all power. Measure the resistance to ground of pin 15 on PU2.

All pins of PU2 have 0 volt exept pin 11 and pin 12, so the pin 15 has 0V.

Resistance to ground of pin 15 when i measure after remove the power supply is 0 ohm and if i measure after a while the resistance is 66,7κohm

There are a lot of 0V on PU2. The issue may be linked to pin #13 of PU2 which mates with the EC and believe that EC_ON is a digital GPIO enable pin. Inside the EC is usually a 8051 microcontroller that requires firmware to perform its task. No experience with the EC reprogramming so wait on others to reply with their feedback.

Details of PU201 are looking very good.

Yes, EC_ON comes from SIO and it enables the 3/5V regulator. Could be bad sio,bad dc jack, bad ec firmware, rtc section fault.

                    Hi all
I have the same problem after changing cpu mosfet and controller.
Before the laptop go on but no voltage on cpu and vgt coil.
                    I have reprogrammed bios also
So i think the same as you propose that the ec must be reprogram

                          Hi there,

I have a DK10FG-6050A2491301-MB-A03 motherboard with missing ACOK voltage. Here are the basic voltages of BQ24725A. The motherboard is dead with no signs of life.

                          ACN : 19.35V
                          ACP : 19.36V
                          ACDET : 2.7V
                          REGN : 5.916V
                          VCC : 19.36V

Diode mode to ground reading on ACOK rail is 0.450V on pin 1 of R6013 and 0.230V at pin 2. Replaced BQ24725A a couple of times. Still no luck.

The problem was that I was not having 3.3V/5V from the TPS51225 regulator. So I tracked down to the BQ24725A which was missing the ACOK voltage...

Hello everyone, I need your help. I'm having issues with a Lenovo motherboard. When I plug in the charger, there's no current consumption. However, the laptop works if I bypass the charger IC by applying 20V directly to the main resistor. I checked the voltages at the charger IC and found that ACOK (AC OK signal) is missing, and ACDRV (AC Drive) isn't sending voltage to the gates. I've searched for shorts but found none. I replaced the charger IC three times, but ACOK remains around 0.24V–0.35V. The MOSFETs test fine. If anyone has encountered this issue, I'd appreciate your advice.

Board had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.

Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),...

                          Hi everyone,

I recently acquired this card from a seller who was selling a PowerMac G5 for parts. He mentioned that the video card was probably broken too.

Upon closer inspection, I can tell the reason why it won't work: it's missing a bunch of CAPS! (it's also missing an inductor - 1.0uH).

It's a nice card as it's one of the few AGP cards that will support 2560 x 1600 resolution on a PowerMac G5 using a 30" Cinema Display.

Looking at the card, it appears to be missing the following:
