Samsung have been using this style LED connector for few years now
Usually good idea to test the LEDs before opening the panel to change them. I do this without the PSU stil connected. With this connector (white one) have to jam the LED tester probes in the very narrow thin slot where the PSU blade style male prong inserts into. I've done this on many Samsungs without problem until today...
The female terminal inside the white connector has fragile fingers that grabs onto the male blades on the PSU's black connector. If the LED tester probe spreads open... -
This is for car audio amplifiers but I doubt that matters. There are amplifiers that use the same make/series capacitor as a different manufacturer and they consistently fail in one brand. In the other they are OK. The amplifiers are from the same era. Is it possible that the heating profile used when flow-soldering the boards could be the reason for the failure? If not, any ideas on what the difference could be? -
i need help for this PSU, it is old way back to 2018, bought it, but after 2 years, with Ryzen 3 3100 and RTX 2060, it sometimes make the PC reboot when gaming(RTX 2060 full load), it used on ITX Silverstone SUGO SG11 case, so probably got heat often, i don't have schematics and boardview, any help please, where to start looking? well it just feel bad to see good things damaged like this

I have an AsRock Taichi 7900xtx, and the minimum fan speed is way too high at 1000rpm, and thats with it's Quiet BIOS switch on, and me setting the fan profile as low as it goes, while on.
Now 1 thing I could do is just make some circuit to put in between the fan the the GPU, and leave the fan on all the time, but anytime the GPU is sending the PWM for min speed, I'll just send something lower and quieter.
But does anyone know what how AsRock usually sends the PWM to the fans on GPUs and mobo's? Is it from the MCU that's often near the 12V inputs and fan jack ? Or is... -
Hi all..
long story short when i disassemble a laptop (asus gl504gs) for cleaning. I found some component deliberatelly removed from the board by unknown technician.
turns out this component is a diode BAT54CW
For a power protection circuit
i installed this component and now laptop not charging anymore
its detect the ac adapter but not charging the battery
i removed the component again and know it start charging normaly
i just curious why this happen, i mean it should be there from factory but why when i installed it and it make the laptop not charging?...10-12-2024, 07:24 PM
