Hi all..
long story short when i disassemble a laptop (asus gl504gs) for cleaning. I found some component deliberatelly removed from the board by unknown technician.
turns out this component is a diode BAT54CW
For a power protection circuit
i installed this component and now laptop not charging anymore
its detect the ac adapter but not charging the battery
i removed the component again and know it start charging normaly
i just curious why this happen, i mean it should be there from factory but why when i installed it and it make the laptop not charging?
