by master3112I have an ASUS ROG Strix- G513IH-HN008, motherboard G513-6050A3249301- MB-A04 (A4)
When I received the device, the device has no function. After an investigation, I found that the PWM CONTROLLER RT6575B (U6100) is getting warm and there is a short circuit at the 3V3 output. This normally supplies 3V3 for the embedded controller IT5571E-128 (U301). When measuring and analyzing with a thermal imaging camera, I found that some components are damaged: SLG4E42553VTR (U8500), IT5571E-128 (U301), LAN RTL8111H (U450), LOGIC 74LVC1G08GW (U1900), RT6575B (U6100) All these components are on... -
by elmannHello everyone, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop, motherboard dell vegas 15341-1.
The laptop does not start, does not provide 3.3V ALWS and 5V ALWS because it does not receive enable from EC (ALWON signal is missing). The ISL circuit provides ACOK for EC but EC no longer provides ALWON for the 3.3V and 5V ALWS source built with TPS51225. EC is supplied with 3V from 3VLDO from TPS51225. On the power button I have 3V and it reaches EC.
EC is on page 24 in the attached file.
Please tell me what other conditions can inhibit EC that not to provide ALWON? I looked at the schematic,... -
by randomratNot having the best of luck with my own gadgets atm - I own two identical X15 R2 laptops, both have died suddenly with no prior issues. I have time to focus on one of them and in this post. I might need some hand-holding with this so I kindly ask for some understanding

History: I was using the machine as normal when it suddenly switched off and never came back on. I've owned the machine for over a year and use a Dell Thunderbolt Dock to charge my laptop with.... -
by MicroSMD LabHi, I'm working on a MSI laptop, Motherboard number MS-16W11, GF-65 Thin 10SDR-459US. Went to another shop because the screen was flickering, but it was working well on an external monitor. The LCD was ordered and the laptop was returned to the customer and it no longer worked. It was then sent to another tech (by the shop who ordered the LCD) and the EC (ENE KB9028Q) was replaced with a donor from another MSI board with different board number and no programming was done. It looks like work was done on PU6 (TPS51225) as well as one of the GPU mosfets was burnt (I removed all three GPU mosfets)....
