    Dell Insipiron missing EN ALWSON

Hello everyone, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop, motherboard dell vegas 15341-1.
The laptop does not start, does not provide 3.3V ALWS and 5V ALWS because it does not receive enable from EC (ALWON signal is missing). The ISL circuit provides ACOK for EC but EC no longer provides ALWON for the 3.3V and 5V ALWS source built with TPS51225. EC is supplied with 3V from 3VLDO from TPS51225. On the power button I have 3V and it reaches EC.
EC is on page 24 in the attached file.
Please tell me what other conditions can inhibit EC that not to provide ALWON? I looked at the schematic, but I can't tell if the EC is faulty or is it something else.
    Thank you

Re: Dell Insipiron missing EN ALWSON

The EC chip does not have an external quartz crystal, it has an internal oscillator, at pins 123 and 125, where the quartz crystal would have been connected, I have no signal. If the oscillator is internal, should there be an oscillatory signal on them or not?.
The rest pin RESET OUT pin (73) is zero but I don't know if it is in the reset state or EC is not working and that is why it is in zero?
There is a 32625 Hz RTC signal on the CPU but the clock signal does not come from the CPU to the EC on pin 25

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
      by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Hi everyone, i got a Dell G7 7588 missing +VCC_CORE and +VCCGT, i have already checked the power on sequency, everything seens to be fine, i also have PCH_PLTRST# signal present.
the laptop turns on but no video.

i flashed a new BIOS and also Clean ME, same issue.

      i already replaced PU5000 NCP81215D
      DRVON 4.75v
      VR_RDY 3.3v
      EN 3.3v

      +VCCSA 1.04v
      +VCC_CORE resistance is 4ohm.

no GPU power also but if i remove the +VCCSA coil i have the GPU powered and the VRAMs.

      Thank you.

Dell Pro 13 Plus PB13250 Bios Unlock
      by Akhlz001
      Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...

Dell Inspiron 5590 Board 18778-1 no charging, charging not possible
      by master3112
I would like to share my experience about charging issues with Dell power supplies with the tech community. I am working on a Dell Inspiron 5590, Mainboard 18778-1 with charging problems. The device can be switched on and works so far, only the message appears at startup:

Alert! The AC power adapter wattage and Type cannot be determined. The battery may not change. The System will adjust the performace to match the power available.

The power supply unit is not recognized in the Bios and the charging process is set to "idle". I use original Dell battery, type...
