    Lenovo 320 80XH

    Hi,

    I have a problem with Lenovo 320 board 80XH, it starts only if I reset bios(pull out battery and bios battery) but after I shut it down it doesn't start again only if I reset it ...

    anyone had this problem?

    I have write bios ic data and ec data from forum, but same situation ...

      If you pull out bios battery only and start with both main battery and charger will it start?

      If not then problem is with main battery or adapter in general

      If you start with adapter only and it does it means problem with main battery

      Bios battery voltage must be 3 or greater for laptop to start in normal way, without it laptop will boot at 3rd attempt after restart

      Confirm problem with main battery or not by start only with adapter plugin

          AC connected - bios disconnected / doesn't start
          main battery connected - bios disconnected / doesn't start

          main battery disconnected / ac connected / bios connected - doesn't start
          main battery connected / ac disconnected / bios disconnected - doesn't start

          bios battery voltage / 3.1v

                  What do you mean by bios disconnected?? Which kbc it uses?? Check RTc section like RTC_RST#/SRTC_RST#. Look for jumper marked on mb "cmos1" or "me1"

                      Hello,

                      I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
                      So I thought it was a Bios problem.
                      I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                      Hello there.

                      I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                      History:

                      1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

                      Lenovo IdeaPad 3 - Hard Disk not recognized in BIOS

                      Dear all,

                      I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.

                      Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:

                      My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
