    Help 820-3437-B NO power on

I have a 820-3437-B macbook Air, and I need your help cause it's a really weird case.

At the benginning, it was dead, so here what I did:
    - Replaced SMC from an identical donar board
    - Removed one dead Ram chip that become really hot and was shorted, so now there are only 6gb on board and nomore 8gb

I thought it was ok after these fix, but now the behaviour is really strange:

With dc magsafe plugged only on board disassembled from macbook:
    • All voltages look good, I get even VCORE, about 1.7volt
    • I get 1 second green light, after stuck on orange light, fan start and stop spinning (like an smc reset), and after that speeds until max full ramp
    • If I plug an usb mouse is powered only 1 sec meanwhile fan starts after stop

    With board assembled on macbook:
    • Battery is charging
    • If I plug an usb mouse is powered only 1 sec meanwhile fan starts after stop
    • no charm, no video, no backlight, nothing
    • I get 1 second green light, after stuck on orange light, but fan is stuck slow spinning, like a good boot, and cpu is hot, but nothing happens
    • If I press power button on Mac with magsafe connected I can reboot it, it's responsive; with only battery charged and no magsafe, if I press power button no response

Can you give me any advice or explain me what is happening? I'd really appreciate it, thank you

Board won't POST without all RAM chips. Should probably cause 3 beeps but not sure.

Are you 100% sure? Avtually I don't have any beep.
So should I replace all 4 ram chips?

I guess smc is also from same part number logic board? Also did you tryed smc bypass mode?

Yes of course, from a same number model board that I bought appositely.
Thanks for the tip, But if I keep pressing power button and connect magsafe (with or without battery it's the same) I got only orange light and fan is not spinning. When I release the power button, Green light for 1 second and after orange, but fan is spinning and same behaviour like described in first post

Does board make two bootloops as it should? Also check all spi rom termination resistors and vias

Yes, CPU is reading EFI, and to do that it needs vcore.

Most of the time these boards will power cycle before VCore can even turn on if there's an issue around SPI ROM, because the PCH cannot read the soft straps.

All SPI are good. I'm starting to think that the problem is the cpu/gpu

                                Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...

                                Macbook A1297 Mid2010 820-2361a Magsafe schematic?
                                by shivahoj
Hello, the Magsafe connector of the above Macbook was defective(burnt pins). It is located on a small DC-IN board labeled 820-2361a sitting in the top right corner of the macbook, connected to the main PCB with 5 separate cables.
While replacing the magsafe, I must have unsoldered and lost a small SMD Resistor that is silkscreen-labeled R1 on the solder side(opposite of the magsafe and ferrite filter). It carries the 1bit-bus to the Amber/green LED driver chip in the Magsafe plug, and without connection to the 1-bit chip in the plug, the macbook won't charge.
                                ¿Can anyone please provide...

Charging macbook pro mid 2014 15" with magsafe 2 60W charger
                                by paparazzo79
                                Hi guys.
May I charge this model with 60 W charger?
I know it requires 80 W to charge, but don't want to buy one.
If it specifically requires and 60 W can damage macbook and vise versa, I guess I will have to buy 80 W one....

                                by SarcasticOP
I am looking at an A2337 and found this for the order of power rails and what they do. Can this be confirmed before I dive into hunting down power rails that do not exist or are not neccisary?
                                • PPBUS_G3H (12.6V-12.8V)
                                  • This is the main power rail that supplies power to the entire system. Check this rail first, as it must be present for other power rails to work.
                                • PP3V42_G3H (3.42V)
                                  • This power rail is derived from PPBUS_G3H and is used to power the SMC (System Management Controller) and other essential circuits. It should be present if PPBUS_G3H is working correctly.
                                • PPVRTC_G3H (3.3V)
