I need help on this HP dm4 6050a2314301-mb-A03 , there is voltages on power button but pressing power button nothing happens, i cannot find schematic on this can someone help on this please

hi i have a msi mpg z390m gaming edge ac mb. that wont turn on when i short the 2 pins on the front connectror.
im new in electrionic repair. and i hope that someone will share a bit knowledge, thoughts or ideas with me and others, to repair that damm thing ;D
1. thought psu problem. nope psu is good. i even bought a psu tester to be save.
2. thought a short somewhere that the psu goes in short save mode. nope... no short to measure with my multimeter to ground. psu and mainboard starts with all cabels plugget in, when i bridge green and black on the 24 pin.

Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...
I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.
Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...07-12-2024, 03:03 AM -
Dear buddies., working on a MacBook Air A1466 (Logic Board 820-00165-A 2017). The logic board turns on fine (This is all done without battery) & the Magsafe jack is lit to orange. I boot it up to OS. Once I shut it down, it does not turn on again unless I remove the magsafe 2 jack & put it back again. There is no liquid spill & the voltages seem to be fine. I re-build a new BIOS & CleanME region done, but the problem still exsist. Once shut down, does not turn on from the keyb power ON/OFF button. I put in a new keyboard & the MagSafe/Audio board & a new flex cable too,... -
Hello, I have the similar problem. My Dell Precision 7520 doesn't turn on with only battery. Below are the various scenarios and its symptoms
1. With only battery, the laptop turns on but no display and shuts down after few seconds
2. With battery and charger plugged in, the battery light comes on. But pressing the power button does nothing and laptop refuses to turn on. However, the battery led light blinks every 17seconds from when the charger is plugged in with or without battery. First of all I want to thank all the good professional people at badcaps. I have repair several tv by following all your great technical advises.
Below is my issue:
I have a Samsung 50uhd8550. The standby led is on but pressing the power does not turn it on. I disconnected the connector from the power supply board to main board and the backlights did not come on. I measured the pins on the connector CNM803 and I only gets the following:
PS ON/OFF = 3.5V
A5V = 5V
ALL other pins are showing no volts.
Any help will be appreciated....
