    hp 450 g3 it will not start

    main: DAX63CMB6C0 REV: C
    with this notebook something a little strange happens when I connect the power supply connector, the relative LED of the connector lights up and at the same time also the LED on the on / off button for three seconds then turns off while the other stays on, if I try to press the button on / off does not turn on, I measured on the button pins and I measure 2.4v (usually 3.2v), which go to ground by pressing the button, +3 and +5 voltages are present, what tests can I do? can it be a corrupt bios problem?

    thank you

    check voltages on PU3 ,all pins, post your results. The power button needs +3V_ALW. Also check voltage on CN5 with and without the ribbon cable attached

          measurements on CN5 both with and without flat:
          pin1 = 3.5v
          pin2 = 3.5v
          pin3 = 2.4v
          pin4 = 0

          measurements on PU3:
          pin1 = 3.4v
          pin2 = 3.4v
          pin3 = 0.6v
          pin4 = 3.5v
          pin5 = 3.5v
          pin6 = 7v
          pin7 = 4.7v
          pin8 = 19v
          pin9 = 0
          pin10 = 3.5v

            measurement on Q8:
            pin1 = 3.3v
            pin2 = 2.4v
            pin3 = 3.5v
            pressing on / off button pins 2 and 3 go to 0v

              Can you remove C28 and check if the voltage goes up,if it does replace the cap.If the cap is ok Test Q8 again,i think you got the pins mixed up.

                Re: hp 450 g3 it will not start

                the C28 is ok, but there is something that does not fit me, according to the dataschit the pins of Q8 should be as on the diagram but on the board it is on pin 2 that I measure the 2.4v while according to the diagram I should measure them on pin 1, and when I press the on / off botton it is pin 2 that goes to gnd and pin 3 goes to 0v, llego photo of q8

                  I think the pin which you have markes as pin3, should be pin1.

                    The 2N7002K gate is pin 1. The schematic pins are wrong .

                      as you can see in the photo the number of pins corresponds to that found on the datashits, therefore: pin 1 = gate pin 2 = source pin3 = drain, but what I would like to know when I turn on the notebook goes to gnd pin 2 source, also because pin2 of Q8 and pin 3 of CN5 are connected together. to reset the micro-ec that is to turn on the notebook, pin 73 of the micro should go to 0v right? only it is already at 0v

                        replaced Q8 but does not turn on yet, voltage on pin 2 is now 2.5v

                        also I noticed that Q6 and Q7 are not mounted

                          Hello
                          I have a Model X63C PCB with the same problem as "poweron"
                          How was the problem solved?
                          Poweron with what software did you open "Quanta x63C-MB_C.bdv?
