Apple MBP 13" 820-2936 not Load Battery

I got a Apple MBP 13" here with a failure on the Power Rail. It is not charging the battery and not working on PSU. It only works on Battery. The PSU light is green or off. When i remove the battery the MBP goes out immediately.

    I found those two topics:

    https://boards.rossmanngroup.com/thr...harging.32412/

    https://de.ifixit.com/Antworten/Anse...harged+battery

I measured pin 17-18 and 27-28 on the U7000, those are 3.3 Ohm and 20 Ohm, Just like in the the first link. So i replaced the U7000 with one of a spare board but with no success. So in the first topic someone replaced the Q7030, how to i measure that thing? The diagram looks like the picture added.

In the second topic they are replacing a resistor going bad, but mine ist still at 0 Ohm.

Please clarify, the state of the LED on the Magsafe is very important.
Also before replacing anything you have to take some voltage measurements.

So, now i have some time for this older MBP. The LED is green, mostly, but at some time it just turns off.

What should i measure? Power incoming is 16v

If Magsafe LED is green but sometimes not present it's most likely bad contact. Known good Magsafe and DC-in board should take care of that.
You have to measure the main power rails such as PP3V42_G3H and PPBUS_G3H with battery disconnected. I'd recommend watching Louis Rossmann videos as this topic is already covered extensively, probably even a very similar problem on the same board.

As piernov said watch Louis's videos on the one wire circuit - you need a steady light on the magsafe before moving forward.

The green light sais on for now.

            PP3V42_G3H = 3,34V
PPBUS_G3H = 0,08V But it is slowly rising. Now at 0,10V So there could be the problem.

The device is turned of at this time of measuring.

I checked the rossman forum, not the videos yet.

So i found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPxYPrnoMZ4 there he replaced the U7000, just as i did. Well i took it from a broken board.

There's a lot more to the troubleshooting process than randomly replacing a component.

You need to measure voltages on U7000, also check for a short on PPBUS_G3H

The voltages look normal except the PPBUS_G3H. What voltages should be on the U7000? There should not be a shortage, because it is working from the Battery. When the Battery is connected the PPBUS_G3H is around 11 Volt.

What voltage should be on the SMC_BC_ACOK? But the light is green. I followed the steps in the Video and all seems the same issue, low PPBUS_G3H around 1 Volt, no voltage on the Q7030 and on the white Fuse (which is directly connected to the PPBUS_G3H).

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
                      by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

ASUS X571 no power : battery issue?
                      by mkdj
                      Hello everyone,

                      Mark and model: ASUS X571
Symptoms: not turning on. There is only the LED battery indicator working. The owner of the laptop told me this problem arrived one week after having changed the battery. He then managed to power on the laptop only once, and then it never powered on again.

                      Tests already made:
                      - Battery is charging when laptop is plugged in. The LED battery indicator turns white after a couple of hours of charge, indicating that battery is fully charged. However, laptop won't turn on anyway, with or without AC plug.
                      - I have removed...

Vostro 3400 (LA-K033P) won't charge battery, everything else ok
                      by techfreak9356
I bought a Vostro 3400 motherboard (LA-K033P) to upgrade over my damaged Inspiron 5593 (LA-J091P) board. Everything else is ok except for the battery. This battery I am using now is already a replacement one since I disposed of the bloated original one. Back in the Inspiron 5593 motherboard, the battery charges fine and is identified just fine. However, with the upgraded motherboard, suddenly the replacement battery is labeled as "Not a dell battery". When I borrow a similar battery from my colleague (which did not have replacements yet), it is identified and charges just fine.

Broke off RTC Coin battery pin on HP EliteBook 840 G1 - Operating Systems do not load or install
                      by nerdmafia
Hi first question posting here, but no need to go easy on me!
I have an HP EliteBook 840 G1 non touchscreen. The symptoms are that: Repairing or reinstalling windows freezes no matter how i try it. Live Ubuntu that works on any other computer also freezes while trying to load it. The RAM sticks and the harddrive work fine in other computers. I broke off the connector by accident, CN4750 and was using the laptop for a while with no coin battery. According to this schematic I found on here, which I THINK is the correct schematic, pins 2, 3, and 4 should short to ground, and they do....

                      by ferah831208
Hello guys, i need help with this problem, I have a NM-D041 mobo, it came with low impedance in 3v linear regulator rail, the cause was a damaged EC controller ITE8227e-192. I ordered a new one and replaced it. This laptop have a different chip for keyboard management and it8227e pins for programming ITE chips are not accesible through keyboard interface, I flashed it using i2c interface pins with vertyanov programmer because laptop was dead and SPI flash didn't have power (only 3v EC) so it couldn't access firmware stored in SPI memory. I read SPI and extracted it8227 firmware from original BIOS...
