    Lenovo Z580 USB doesn't work

    USB2.0 / USB3.0 ports are not working, user has reversed voltage with ardunio 12v.
    Motherboard DALZ3AMB8E0 Quanta LZ3, REV: E
    The U23 did not have an output voltage of 5v, and there was no 3.3v on the 4th pin (OC).
    There were 2-3 pins + 5V_S5, the 4th pin had 3.3v enable.
    Result: U23 changed output 5v came, 3.3v OC pin ok but USB port still not working. HM chipset has been changed but USB still does not work.
    Is there anyone who can help?

      Check U17/U28/U42/U47. Measure resistance on D+ and D- on usb port.

          all of this is ok
          -I actually solved the problem.
          -the problem was in windows 8.1
          -I installed windows on a different hard disk, I saw that the problem was solved.
          -No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fix the problem in windows 8.1.
          Although I turned it off by pressing -Shift
          Operating system is not UEFI
          Anyway thank you so much
          Processes: U23 changed, PCH changed, Operating system was reinstalled as Windows10.

              In bios you have an option "OS optimize settings" or something like that. When it's disabled USB will work in compatibility with W7, when enabled will not work with W7, and probably from here you have problems in W8

                      Review page 28 of the Lenovo schematics. There you will find the USB 2.0 & 3.0 port schematic.

                      Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode (2k scale).

                      Measure & post the resistance to ground of each D+ / D- pin of the USB connector.

                      Also recommend, remove all power, meter in DIODE mode.

                      Red meter probe (yes, RED) to GROUND.

                      Black meter probe to D+ to measure. Post the reading.

                      Then repeat for D- pin in DIODE mode setting. Post the reading.

                          hello everyone, I have a particular problem with this lenovo ideapad 330s-15ikb. I had to replace the motherboard due to liquid damage, after replacing it I noticed that some letters on the keyboard do not work. So I bought a new keyboard and now all the keys work except the numeric keypad area. In practice the num lock key LED always remains on and the numbers do not work. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I also tried changing the keyboard again but the same defect remains on the numeric keypad.

                          Lenovo s145-15api work fine after bios flash for some time, like a few restarts or power cycles.

                          Hi! I have a Lenovo s145-15api Ryzen 5 3500u, he need a bios reflash, i made that (tried with ch341a and ezp2023+). I tried a lot of dumps, and all do the same, so i think is a hardware problem. So after reflash, laptop work fine a short time, after some restart or power on/off, the laptop have again same symptoms, need a new bios. Do it again and again and same result. What are u think is the problem?
