    Hp CQ62 SIO problem EC_USB_PWR_EN

    i have hp PM_A_HPC_S_MV_MB_V1 MOTHERBOARD.
the 3.3/5v voltage regulator is working.
i do not have the 5v on usb.
following the schematic i notice that from ITE8502 ,EC_USB_PWR_EN goes to usb chip APL3510 EN pin directly which suppost to be 3.3v, i get 0.05v and then goes to 0 and then back to 0.05v.

Can i give 3.3v from some other place instead of changing SIO ic!

    Thanks

If the APL3510 is shorted why would you run 3.3V from somewhere else. Its an N channel mosfet, test it out of circuit

      Thanks for your reply,

APL 3510 is not short. The voltage 3.3v is delivered from SIO pin 88 ec_udb_pwr_en to a resistor and then to pin 4 of alp3510.
As I mentioned when having the probe of multimeter on pin 4 I see that shows 0.05v,then 0v and back to 0.05v.
I tried resolve ite8502 but still the same result.
The power on lamp is blinking and laptop does not turn on.

On keyboard connector pins 27,32 i get 0v.
resistance to ground 5.43K but i do not get any shorts

Did you got schematics ! post it.
what's the value of the resistor betwen pin 88 and pin 4 of alp3510 ! is it the same as the schematics !

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
                by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
                1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
                2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
                3. Problem: TV shuts down

                i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

                Lenovo T580 - LCD Panel problem - error 0288
                by perzyk23
                Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....

                Dell 15R-5521 keyboard problem (KBC?)
                by SDNarcia
Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.

                As additional information,...
