Your 2 Fest are N channel fets gâté need 24V to Bypass the voltages. you have to check the two MOSFETs one of them is short or faulty there is another way to bypass the voltage to see if the MB working or not

I checked with a multimeter, on Fet 1 between D and S ther is high impedance , on the Fet 2 there is 0,7 ohm

Take it out of the MB and test it again after removing check the resistance to GND R010 CLR next to the 2nd Fet , I will explain after how to bypass the voltage to see if the MB working or not

I removed the fet 1 is between D and S there is high impedance also inverting the terminals. Between R010 and gnd high impedance

thats fine do a last test put the multimeter in DIODE range do the same test 1st & 2 fet (S D G) and the R010, remove the 1st fet out of the MB to test , do you have a power LAB ? if the 1st fet is fine to find out the MB is working or not put a sold wire from Drain of 1st fet to Source of 2nd fet pads you can leave the second fet out of the MB for the moment but with a powre LAB it's easy to fine out any short

if I try the first unsoldered fet with the multimeter in diode mode it works by putting the positive on the D and negative on the S is open but if I touch G and S here it is enabled and now between D to S is 0.
Yes I have a power lab but to try I have to unsolder the second fet too?

With the power lab first apply 1V 3A to the S of 2fet the is connected to the R010 it’s you CLR if nothing get heat or no short in lab increase the power up to 19V gradually & power the MB

in N-Channel Fet black probe to S Black probe to D Red you should get value of 50-600 if you reverse probe no value or high value , S Red Probe G black probe no value or high value, D to G no Value or high value

OK Ok tried to power it and turn on the video immediately goes into the bios correctly. Retrying the first unsoldered fet with the probe R on D and probe N on S multimeter no value if I invert the probes there are 2.2 mega ohms. Probe R on D and N on G no value if I invert 2.3 mega ohms. If I put probe R on S and N on G there are 30 ohms

                                          Hello everyone,

I am working on an ASUS ROG G513QY laptop with RX 6800M dGPU.
Originally, this laptop was completely non-functional. I replaced the motherboard (part number 6050A3254002-MB-Axx), and with the replacement board it started working fine.

For a long time, the dGPU worked perfectly stable. I played several hundred hours on very demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 without any crashes, instability, or detection issues. Performance was excellent and there were no warning signs of failure.

However, after some time, the replacement motherboard...

                                          Hey guys,

i have a asus motherboard here and as the title says after the first mosfet (in the picture) there is nothing more than 3.15v.
I injected 19v and max. 1 amp at the charging port and there is not voltage drop or smth. It's just taking 19v and 1 milliamp.
Then i tried to inject 19v and max 1amp after the current sensor and there it first takes 19v and 4 milliamps and after 2 seconds it is taking nothing (no current).
I measured on the coils on board everything seems fine. Also the main power rail is not shorted (infinite resistance).
                                          Now i thought something...

                                          Asus GA502D keeps blowing mosfet
                                          by Scotchmist
I have an Asus GA502D, it had a blown mosfet which I replaced and the laptop booted into windows, a few mins later it shut off, the same mosfet was blown. I thought maybe just a bad mosfet but same thing happened again, a few mins in windows and shuts off.

I have removed the mosfet and can run the laptop no problem

                                          The MOSFET is FDPC5018SG

Can anyone point me in the direction of what could be the cause of this, could it be the controller rt3663bc?

                                          Thanks

ASUS ROG Zephyrus GPU Mosfet repeat failure

The board number is GU502DU. I repaired this a couple weeks ago and it came back with the same issue, same mosfet failed (PQH9201). I'm hoping that the GPU was spared this time.
I used the same replacement part (purchased from Mouser) and I'm certain the soldering was done properly since it took just as much effort to remove as before. What could cause this same mosfet to fail? I'm thinking if it was unsuitable then the others would fail too. I looked for similar failures on YTube and the mosfet was replaced with AOE6930 in one instance and AOE6932 in the other but it's possible that the...

Odd MOSFET only on some ASUS x99/x299/z370 motherboards..

                                          Hi All,
Could anyone comment on the purpose of the MOSFET circled in red in the attached photo of an ASUS ROG X299 Extreme VRM?

I'm trying to fix an ASUS motherboard(WS x299 SAGE) with a similar VRM where this MOSFET has burnt out along with one of the IR3555m driver chips. From looking at photos of motherboard VRMs on the internet, it seems only some ASUS motherboards have a MOSFET like this. Although I've seen some photos of ASUS z370 boards where it's not populated. The MOSFET is usually a NTMFS4C06N. It has its drain connected to the output of the Vcore VRM, and on...
