The Puhuit stations are horrible. Their IR beams pulsate therefore don't provide a stable beam at all.

I'd steer away and try to get a jovvy system instead.

Used T8280 for quite some time and its fantastic (C100 mod included). Don't know how you had bad exp with them.

I removed the first burnt 8 pin mosfet. I can't read what type it is, but the top of it says ph7sd.

The circled chip has 14 pins, not 8.
Do you have a bigger\better photo showing the actual number?

Well the logo is Fairchild so maybe contact them, that part number doesn't show up anywhere

DV6000 No Power - Blue DC Block lights..

Low ohms

181 ohms - 7636 (By 8724)

51 ohms - 7636 (by ENE)

274 ohms - 6679 (opposite side of CPU socket)


Replace all? This version of the board uses an intersil SMPS controller. How would I test it? ISL6236

I now this is old thread but i have same problem and would like to know how to solve it ?

the most telling way i can think of right now is a port80 card. (they come in miniPCI too.)
