Re: Old National IC ???
Just for reference i have purchased a used pcb from the garage technician that installed in first place the door before 25 years an he charged it to me for 120 Euros
I could not wait any more. The door was unlocked.
At ebay someone sells it for 50$
Thanks everyone for posting helpful answers

Re: Old National IC ???
Thanks alot all of you are helping alot
It is a stanley coded part from national...
Near this ic is the lm339 ic. It warmed alot and the voltage at vcc pin was 2volt.
Replaced the lm78l82 and voltage is 8.2 V. Also replaced the lm339 IC but the pcb is not functional...
Suppose that this 051-9852 ic is off and if replace it will do the job.
will upload some pics...

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
I am back with some updates to report
Yesterday after changing C910 and installing the pcb on chassis by connecting pin 4 with pin2 of CN906 all VOLTAGES are present!!!
At CN904 i have the desired 31,5 Volts but problem remainss...
The front panel doesn't go on although the above readings
I have started searching the panel pcb and found IC5000 that has only VIN 4V and no Vout 3,3V. This IC is not on schematic i have provided but is identical to IC102 on this Schematic
Maybe someone...Last edited by ortiko; 12-17-2014, 03:00 AM.

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
I am very disappointed with this PS and don't know what more to do...
Yesterday i removed IC 901 just to see if anything with voltages changes.
With IC901 removed and installed voltage whas the same
In schematic voltage is 152 Volts and i read 320V with my voltmeter on pin 3
(this is like pin 7 at IC921)
The above makes me think that maye the problem is at the very basics of PS ?...

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
I used a 120 Ohms resitor to pins 2 and 4 of CN906 and no voltage at all at CN 904.
Removed the resistor and no voltage either.

Havent connect the resistor. Mesurments was taken without anything connected to board exept mains plug...

What about PC903 ?
Maybe it causes the problem ?

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
The voltage measurements taken before the IC was replaced and "spark" occurred was exact as with new IC.
After the "spark" and with not replaced IC there was no voltage at all
The above is a clue i think that the IC is ok

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
Actually i didn't use wires to connect the IC.
I cutted old IC pins and then bend them to solder them with new one (Greek patent... ).
See picture below please
Parts and the heatsink was removed to make the soldering accessible and after that of course was back in place before ps was powered on...Last edited by ortiko; 11-15-2014, 02:28 PM.

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
Have done it with 22uf 100V but voltage is as before
Done this to with my external power supply and attached 28V dc on C926.
At Q922 E was 20V, C 28V and B 21V so i suppose it is ok?...

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
With Q922 on pcb E and C resistance readings are 5.5 Mohms and rises slowly

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
At E and C of pcb resistance readings are 1,2 Mohm and q922 removed from pcb

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
DZ901 with multimiter on diod test it reads 0,563 and if reverse the meter terminals it reads 0,730(on pcn)

Re: Sony HCD-DZ880W Receiver Dosen't Power ON
meter is ok. i used a second one and same volts...
DZ902 has 11V like DZ904 and same resistance readings
Do you suggest i take of the Q922 first ?Last edited by ortiko; 11-14-2014, 12:33 PM.
