hello:
a very big problem,
the customer lost the adapter so he bought a 20v 65w adapter but he inverted the polarity, immediately this ic: TPS65982 USB Type-C and USB PD Controller blown,as shown
the problem is that i cannot find this IC nearby, is there a way to only make this laptop charging???

How can you invert the polarity on a usb c charger to begin with !?

Also that chip is widely available.. even on eBay.
Just replace the chip.

as i mentioned , he bought another charge of lenovo usb plug , so he cut the wires to put instead the type c plug.

Ah okay you didn't mention that he connected a regular charger to usbc.

Replace that chip. There is no way around.
I guess the customer can wait until the chip arrives. It was his fault nonetheless..

i was thinking if i can find a way to make this laptop only charging
without this IC ...hehehe

You probably could do that but i guess you would have to modify the board to an unreasonable amount. Not worth the effort.
