    Laptop screen testing simple question

I have this laptop that comes with a 30 pin paper led. The problem is double image and pink screen at some portion.

I have a 30 pin normal led screen and another 30 pin 11 inch screen. So the question is can i test using either os these to see if it is a screen issue or motherboard .

Sure, you can test with the other screens as long as display supports.

How do I know if display is supported ...is is just the PINS ? or other factors also should be taken into account before using it for testing purpose ?

I want to thank you for your response.I have another query , could you please take a look at that one as well

yes, just the pins. you can try attaching another screen with same pins. You will get display if resolution is supported. All screen doesnt support all resolutions-thats what i mean by saying "as long as it is supported"

          by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
