    samsung j3 6 mobile phone

Hi guys i need some advice i have been asked to look at a mobile phone its basically brand new but they reset it some reason and have forgotten the google account password so they cant set the phone up i have tried all the fixes on youtube none work, now my question is im thinking of re loading the firmware through odin3 but is the google account in the firmware or in the software?
these are the two links i have found

If a factory reset doesn't work, then I doubt reflashing the firmware would.
Have they/you not tried a Google password reset ?

yes diff they have not even got the phone number associated with that account anymore so they cant receive the text etc, i have tried the reset through the android screen power on home button volume up and did a reset that way, what made me mention the firmware/software is i took it too my local phone repair shop and they said they could reload the phone software/firmware and it would be like a brand new phone but they wanted £30.00 so trying to fix myself.

It's worth a try if the phone is already effectively bricked at this point.
It will be like a new phone, but it's possible there is some authentication that identifies if an account was properly removed from the phone when it connects to Google servers when it's setup with the new account.
If it does you/the phone is still in the same position so nothing lost apart from a little time.

I had a friend a few months back ask me to do something similar. A week old phone with receipt but his girlfriend had changed her password when drunk. I tried everything and even rang Google who were no help, I didn't think of trying to reload the firmware, so I'm interested to know if it works.

FRP cannot be easily removed. The point is that people cannot use stolen phones, pretty much like iCloud (FRP is still less secure than iCloud). On some phones with some Android version there are bypass method to get past the setup screen though.

The person who owns the phone is now on holiday once hes back i will see if he wants me too try it with a warning it may brick his phone (guess he could re sell screen assembly etc) or does he want too take it to the phone shop and see if they can fix it.
