the marking code on the mosfet is not readable in this photo. you should read it under a microscope and mention the code here.

that mosfet is easy findable. just put 4digit number on him to google with word MOSFET after numbers.

u can replace it with any same packet mosfet with same channel and nearly or more amperage

        Re: Asus GL503V mosfet identification

thanks for reply, but im not into about reading model from soldered one but to find the exact model which is provided with motherboard

i have got battery charging problem while I had replaced the mosfet with new one N channel 30V prewious was shorten and problem still exists, i thrown away old one so I need to find the mosfet model

its not about reading from soldered

orginal one and replaced could have little difrences so it could not solve the battery charing problem

no little differecies matter. only what matters is channel and amperage. if have still problem u must search elsewhere.

Rework those 2 caps. Put some kapton tape or foil on the 2 connectors above so they do`nt get melted any further,if you rework using hot air .

did u try to use that switch behind battery connector? as i see it is not lid switch but intrusion detection switch

                  Re: Asus GL503V mosfet identification

its not about switch, because voltage state is flowing around this mosfet and sth is not ok so im looking for mosfet exact model, im sure i solder in correct one according to n type and voltage but maybe other characteristics are little bit different

so u think if it is 19V on input of that mosfet than mosfet must be bad?

mosfet is just fast switch. the main things is going inside of driver of that mosfet

                          Hello,

My Asus monitor stop working today !! I found the problem on the main board, the power supply board is ok. It's Q9, a mosfet but I have no idea what are the specs since I don't have the schematic for that monitor !!

Can someone help me identified this mosfet ?

                          Thank you !

Asus X712EA 3 volts after the first mosfet
                          by AppleLover123
                          Hey guys,

i have a asus motherboard here and as the title says after the first mosfet (in the picture) there is nothing more than 3.15v.
I injected 19v and max. 1 amp at the charging port and there is not voltage drop or smth. It's just taking 19v and 1 milliamp.
Then i tried to inject 19v and max 1amp after the current sensor and there it first takes 19v and 4 milliamps and after 2 seconds it is taking nothing (no current).
I measured on the coils on board everything seems fine. Also the main power rail is not shorted (infinite resistance).
                          Now i thought something...

                          Asus GA502D keeps blowing mosfet
                          by Scotchmist
I have an Asus GA502D, it had a blown mosfet which I replaced and the laptop booted into windows, a few mins later it shut off, the same mosfet was blown. I thought maybe just a bad mosfet but same thing happened again, a few mins in windows and shuts off.

I have removed the mosfet and can run the laptop no problem

                          The MOSFET is FDPC5018SG

Can anyone point me in the direction of what could be the cause of this, could it be the controller rt3663bc?

                          Thanks

ASUS ROG Zephyrus GPU Mosfet repeat failure
                          by MicroSMD Lab
The board number is GU502DU. I repaired this a couple weeks ago and it came back with the same issue, same mosfet failed (PQH9201). I'm hoping that the GPU was spared this time.
I used the same replacement part (purchased from Mouser) and I'm certain the soldering was done properly since it took just as much effort to remove as before. What could cause this same mosfet to fail? I'm thinking if it was unsuitable then the others would fail too. I looked for similar failures on YTube and the mosfet was replaced with AOE6930 in one instance and AOE6932 in the other but it's possible that the...

                          Hi All,
Could anyone comment on the purpose of the MOSFET circled in red in the attached photo of an ASUS ROG X299 Extreme VRM?

I'm trying to fix an ASUS motherboard(WS x299 SAGE) with a similar VRM where this MOSFET has burnt out along with one of the IR3555m driver chips. From looking at photos of motherboard VRMs on the internet, it seems only some ASUS motherboards have a MOSFET like this. Although I've seen some photos of ASUS z370 boards where it's not populated. The MOSFET is usually a NTMFS4C06N. It has its drain connected to the output of the Vcore VRM, and on...
