    HP 650 plugged in not charging

    Hi,

    I have one hp 650 with notification plugged in not charging, I check plus on battery connector when battery is plugged in and have 12v on + ... when laptop is off and put 12v from power supply I have 12v and 1.8A power comsuption but when charger is plugged in on power supply I have only 0.1A ...

    Does anybody have idea what to check

      Something strange is happening when i put dc power supply on output of second mosfet... amps compsumtion goes to 2.1A and go to zero and again to 2.1A ...

      I didn't check charging ic

        but why i have 12v on + of battery connector and battery not charging ... that is strange to me...

          There could be mosfet shorted on area charging circuit. especially High side mosfet. (Drain-to-Source)

          Also would be help if you mention mainboard ID. So, we have same a reference

              Changed charging circuit and everything is working fine.

                hahah after 15min again same problem... charging and after one sec not charging... loop I dont know where and what to check

                  Make sure use original hp adapter and have known good battery. Try replace Q0901 and Q0902.

                    aaaa check this... when I was heating first fet .... i try again and after that charging is off no going on... i check capacitor on gate of first fet and that capacitor is short to ground after that I replace that capacitor and check again charging is fine for now...
