    Gateway MT6451 dead

Have this laptop, is totally dead, no light nothing, don't have much knowledge on these, I have found a shorted capacitor: PL18 traces over to PQ28 and PQ26, wondering if the cap is bad or the PQ28 is making it show short, not sure how to test PQ28. Will try to find info on testing PQ28, thanks for any thoughts.

C712 is not beeping on one side/no continuity like most of the caps, testing in diode mode with negative lead to ground.

        PL18 is an inductor.
Post high resolution pictures of both sides of the board.

Sorry can't only have a lousy phone camera at the moment, resolution is crap.

Going to try replacing C712 and see if I get continuity per the cap test, it isn't reading short when I put a probe on each side but the continuity on one side when using ground reference is not there meaning no beep/buzz on either side.
