HP Probook 440 G3 caps lock blinks 3 times

Just blinks 3 times once and and bit later on fan speeds up to max.

I tried several BIOS dumps from this forum with no luck.

Please some help.

As far as I know with HP - 3 blinks of Caps lock light , means a problem with the internal RAM memory.
Take out the memory modules and put them back in.

Or leave them out and see if ti makes a difference.You will have 3 blinks when there is no memory installed -

RAM replace/reseat etc makes does not do the trick

It must be 1.5Volt

It is 1,35V (DDR3L)

Voltage for these RAM must be 1.35 V ??You have measured that with a multimeter ?

Are these the correct memory modules for this laptop model ??Are you sure about that ?

If all the modules are out , do you still have 3 blinks ?
And does the laptop wants to start ?? Is the fan spinning etc ?

Just want to add :

Take out all the RAM and measure the voltage again.
Is it still 1.35 Volts ? Is there a difference in the value ?

I'm not sure but I believe that you don't need to start up the laptop.
Just connect the adapter - leave the battery out - do the measurement

DDR3-L is the correct memory module on this platform and it runs on 1.35V. So that's ok. Still sounds like a bios issue. Can you post your backup here??
