Hi friends I need help on this laptop Samsung R530 which giving me white screen already tried replaced the screen with good one and also the lvds cable but still the same issue display goes white.I tried on external display but no image.Anyone can help me to fix this please.thanks in advance

Try to replace your memory or clean it first,as well as the process fan heat sink.Can u still access the OS??f ever u can access it,u can uninstall the driver or disabled it, coz there is a problem on your videocard on board.Comment

Ill tried reflowed the mosfet around the lvds connector display comes on a couple of seconds then it goes white again, so i think the problem is around here.i have attached the image and i measured voltages

Those measurements are strange and I guess the pin numbering is not right.
Could you measure again the voltage on Q502 and Q504 again? Check with Q504 either removed or put back but tell us so.
Make sure you use the correct pin numbers, check on the datasheet of the MOSFET if unsure. (Q504 pins are numbered differently between the datasheet and the schematics, pin 1 and 2 are swapped)OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardViewComment

thanks for the response piernov sorry I was wrong measuring on the pins on Q502 i checked datasheet here is the measurement on each pin with the Q504 removed
Q502
PIN1=5V
PIN2=3.3v
pin3= 0vComment

To ask here... I have few devices with white screen problem, actualy nokia 2220 and some fuji? camera, and try to understand what is common problem to cause that issue.
Yes, both devices work everything else probably ok, I mean, I hear intro melody and keypress click sound, DTMF tone, power on off... all ok.
On desk is nokia 2220 slide, and I check all screen connectors and components arround it, measure voltage drop, but all looks ok. I suspect on slide flex cable, but it look ok and white screen is not interupt while flexing board, pushing conectors, and sliding up down. In attachment... -
Hi , I've recently replaced the screen in my Samsung galaxy ao2s, at first it wouldn't even turn on, it had the charging symbol on the screen when plugged in but the green circle wasn't going around to show it charging....
Ive eventually managed to get it on and working but it's very temperamental...
The battery icon always reads as 50% , when the phone goes into lock screen mode i sometimes can't get the screen back on unless I plug the charger in to get it to light up, also it keeps putting the camera app on.. u think it could be something to do with the side buttons. ...05-26-2024, 12:05 AM -

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -

- Image suddenly turned into almost completely white while I was watching a movie. I can make out some details, but they are very faint. There is definitely an image there, but very very bright and maybe inverted colors.
