    DELL 3521 La-9104P problem

    Model : Dell Inspiron 3521
    Motherboard : La-9104p Rev 1.0

Problem: Laptop boots fine with battery. In off condition ,if you plug in charger,Charging indicator is on and it does charge battery. Now, When the laptop is switched only on ac power, It doesnt boots, fan spins continiously and there is no vcc core. But if i switch on battery only, display comes fine and if i connect adapter now(While the laptop is on with display with battery power only), there is slight blink on the screen and display goes off but backlight remains on.

    Where should i look for??

Ps: It uses Bq24747 as charging ic and not ISL

    Re: DELL 3521 La-9104P problem

I'm using Dell 90W Original adapter(100% tested ok) and my battery is also tested fine. Tried with a dell 65w Adapter also.

          here is how:

+1.05v Line gets shorted when ac adapter plugged in-no vcc + coils near pch drops to 0v. On further probing ,found Pu500(Tps51212) is faulty.
Replaced with Richtek alternative with marking 88. Problem solved.

We'all are sharing knowledge with each other, so i dont have any issues sharing

            Dell 15R-5521 keyboard problem (KBC?)
            by SDNarcia
Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.

            As additional information,...

            Dell N5110 problem
            by Achille15
            Hello everyone,
so, I have this laptop Dell Inspiron N5110 with a heating problem on both CPU (I7-2680qm) and GPU (GT 525m), I tried many solutions, like changing thermal paste every month, using thermal pads on CPU and GPU, even using thermal pads on CPU nearby coils; but nothing worked, just minutes after booting the laptop shuts itself down so I thought it might be a short problem, so I decided to check what's going on, so I went online and some tutorial (general one) said to check inductors in order to find the shorted circuit, after checking (CPU removed), I found the culprit to be...

Dell latitude e7470 not turn on .power buton on off and Run Power problem
            by masoksian
            Hi everyone,

I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

The system does not turn on, there is no post.

I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
The problem continues in the same way.
I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....

A few days ago my laptop gave me problems, when I wanted to turn it on to my surprise without charging so I did not put much importance on it, after that I turned it on with a charger, it turned on and charged the laptop, the problem with the laptop is that when it is turned off it turns to turn on after seconds, sometimes at 2 or sometimes at 8, other than that it works normally, I already checked many things, I changed a mosfet at the charge input to a pnp but it remained the same, after that I checked and I did not find anything outside Normally, before that, it had a failure where I changed...
