    Samsung Nexus 10 Reboot Loop

I have here this tablet from a senior person, and is not booting anymore.
I can see the the "Google" logo and it turns off and on all time.
I'm 98% sure that the tablet was never tampered or disassemble before.
    I don't have experience with google/android gadgets.
    Any tips Guys ?

    Thanks

Factory Reset may be the only option, the menu to do so is usually accessed by holding down volume up and the power button on start up but can differ from device to device, just google 'Factory Reset' for Samsung Nexus 10, moving up/down through the menu and selecting will be done using the same buttons, can be a little fiddly but take your time and you'll be OK, just be aware that Factory Reset WILL delete all user data so check with owner first, as i said might be no other option, best of luck

Re: Samsung Nexus 10 Reboot Loop

I have now diassembled the rear cover and disconnected the battery.
Reconnected battery and now i see the animation of the battery charging, but after 30 minutes, no change, still a reboot loop.
Yes, i've tried "holding down volume up and the power button", no change.
        Must i assume a dead battery ?

Re: Samsung Nexus 10 Reboot Loop

                Hi Pasette, try the following:

Important: If your device is running Android 6.0 and up, you'll need a Google username and password already associated with the device. If you don't have the username and password, you won't be able to use the device at all after reset.

After following all the "Get ready" steps above:

If your device is on, turn it off.
Press and hold the Volume down button. While holding Volume down, press and hold the Power button until the phone turns on. You'll see the word "Start" with an arrow around it.
Press the Volume down button until you highlight "Recovery mode."
Press the Power button to start recovery mode. You'll see an image of an Android robot with an exclamation mark (you may also see "No command").
Press and hold the Power button. While holding Power, press the Volume up button once. Then release the Power button.
If "Wipe data/factory reset" isn't highlighted, press the Volume down button until it is. Then press the Power button to select it.
Press the Volume down button until you highlight "Yes" (or "Yes - delete all user data"). Then press the Power button to select it.
After the reset is complete, press the Power button to select "Reboot system now."
When you're done, restore your data. Learn how to restore your data on a Pixel phone or on a Nexus device.
Tip: If your device becomes unresponsive, you can restart it by holding down the Power button for several seconds.

Let us know the outcome, tanx

Sry to hear nothing is working passete, not looking too promising, anything different happening if you power the unit with its Power Adapter?, not too familiar with the internals of the android based systems, what happens if you disconnect the battery and try booting using just the power adapter ???

Passete if theres a External Memory Card Installed try removing it, unlikely to have anything to do with the problem but then again you just never know, failing that the last piece of advise i can offer you is to download the Windows version of 'Droid Explore', install it and connect your Nexus 10 to the Computer, if 'Droid Explore' detects your device you should be able to select the option to 'Reboot in Recovery Mode' from within the software, I reall hope this is of help to you, awaiting the outcome. fingers crossed

I can't enter the hide menu, cause now the machine is booting every 2 seconds.
And impossible to charge, cause rebooting loop doesn't let it.
Can this be a battery problem ?

It will probably not turn on without a battery. Try removing the battery and injecting 3.7V directly on the battery connector. (without attaching the charger)

Can you tell me which of the connectors should i inject the 3.7V ?
I have measured the pins of the battery connected, 2 red and 1 blue are reading 4.1V.

The Red wires are the positive Passete, the Blue wires i suspect would be a sense wires for charging but would need someone to confirm that, the battery is rated at 3.7v so if you're getting 4.1v there may obviously be something amiss, as i stated in one of my earlier posts i'm not too familar with the internals of Android Tablets so maybe Piernov or someone else can comment further.

Same here, no experience with that kind of stuff (messed with a few Samsung phones/tablets which wouldn't power on, I wasn't able to fix them).
If the charger is plugged in and the battery is charging, I think reading 4.1V is fine. If the charger is disconnected you should be reading around 3.7V (the voltage is written on the battery sticker).
The red ones are tied together and they are the positive side, black ones are ground, and blue are (I think) data lines.

I use Li-Ion 18650 Batterys (the same ones used on laptops) with my Ecigarette, and they are rated for 3.7V, but when fully charged they read 4.2V.
I will try injecting 3.7V on the red connectors.

PS: i was able to get the hide menu, but when i "hit" the recovery mode, the "approid" start with the crazy loop.

Hi, I have two identical Samsung GU58TU7199, which both had the reboot loop. On that model TCON is integrated into the motherboard and there is only one FPC cable, which goes to a driver board driving half of the panel (left side seen from the rear of the TV) and than another FPC cable connecting left side to the right side.

The first one was easy, once I disconnected the FPC between left and right the TV did start up. I soldered a bridge on the motherboard on the test points as found here in the forum or on Youtube and half of the screen was coming up. I than tried the CK1..8 lines...

                                          Samsung UE75TU6905 reboot loop
                                          by brkie
I have a Samsung UE75TU6905 from 2021, with a maximum of 10 hours of usage as it has been used as a presentation TV in the office. It started rebooting, the picture disappears, the sound continues for 2-3 seconds, and then it restarts (Samsung logo with Tizen OS), after which it returns to the previous activity. I tried disconnecting HDMI, antenna, WiFi, and using different power outlets, and it seemed to improve (or so I thought). Before, it happened occasionally, but now it happens all the time, so the TV stays on for a maximum of 30 seconds.

I read on Samsung's website (reviews)...

Yet another Samsung QLED Boot Loop
                                          by Takeatry
Samsung QLED QN50Q — purchased 2022 started experiencing a delay in the picture coming on in the morning less than 2 years later. Did not know the term boot loop at that time. As the loop delay ran into a few minutes did all the recommended troubleshooting, soft and hard reset, changing cables and outlet locations, no help. As the delay increased contacted Samsung tech group and allow them remote access the tv. Tech was moving too fast to see exactly what he was doing but this ultimately it was also no help. Lived with the delay until it stretched out over 6 hours. Pulled of off the back cover...

                                          Samsung QE50Q60AA - Reboot loop
                                          by natiz
I have a QE50Q60AA that won't stay on - when turning it on, it makes the sound and reboots right after (sound is ok).
Disconnecting the LVDS cable stops the restart loop but no image.
I tried the tape method mentioned in other threads in many variations, but I couldn't get it to properly work (either reboot loop, or no image).
Tested the caps on the left buffer board, no beeps.

                                          What else can be checked?...
