Aspire One D260 no power

Hey guys,

Just received this today, doesn't want to turn on. I found a faulty DC jack which needs replaced, but putting pressure on it seems allow the voltage through, but still no LEDs or power.

11v at the battery connector, and 16v at the power button, is this normal? New to component level repair, still trying to learn.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, you should have 3 volts to ground on the power button, if you have 16 volts something is wrong.

16v didn't seem right to me, I was expecting 3v.

What is the number on the motherboard, LA-6221P or LA-6421P, if it's something else, you should give us the schematics.

Its LA-5651P, I hope this is the right schematic

try to flash bios . but can u measure 3v 5v section? its presented volt? usually bios problem on AO model

OK, I took a little more apart to probe, and I think I found part of my problem!
