The component is not important, I am trying to find the manufacture, using the logo.
Does anyone recognise it?
TIA....

Xbox One X - HDD issues
Anyone here have experience with the Xbox one x consoles, with the corrupt saves issue? Sometimes games freeze, and also some start up errors like E102/E105.
Appears to be failing HDD, however, replacing with a brand new hard drive doesn't seem to resolve the issue. Works for a days or two.
I've seen many reports online, but no solutions that work.

3DS AC adapter
I have about 10 of these with same issue, seem to work until connected to a device, then it just dies. Unplugging for a few seconds resets it again.
I can measure 5v at output, but as soon as I connect the other end to the 3DS, the light show (charging) for a split second, then no light.
Possible just the caps need replaced?...

Re: Need help identifying a component - Nintendo Switch
The console would charge with the cable connected one way, but when flipped the other way, it wouldn't charge.
That component seems to have something to do with CC1 and CC2, as CC2 was shorted to ground.
I traced it back to that component, which was shorted on one of the test points. I have already replaced it with one from another board just to verify if that was the issue, and the problem is resolved.
Now I need to find a replacement. The pin out seems like a dual transistor,...

Re: Lg 42LD490-ZB no HDMI
I already tried to get a replacement board, but every site I checked is 'out of stock', which is why I'm trying to repair the board.

Lg 42LD490-ZB no HDMI
Hi
Was wondering if anyone has any experience with HDMI not working? I wasn't able to find a schematic for this model, but I took a shot in the dark and replaced the HDMI switching IC (NXP, TDA19997HL), but that didn't make any difference..
Everything else works on the TV, except the 3 HDMI ports. TV detects HDMI connected, then says 'Connecting', followed by 'No Signal'. I tried updating the software, checked the ports, tried different cables etc.
This TV belongs to a friend of mine, and I only had the mainboard to work on. he has taken the board...

Re: Dead xbox one controller - 1ACMD short
Thanks for the links guys, as far as I know, mouser ships from USA. So I will probably go with rs-online.
Do you think that one will be suitable? I usually replace components with the same ones, I don't have a clue when it comes too substitutes.

Dead xbox one controller - 1ACMD short
Hi,
So I'm trying to repair this xbox one controller, and I found the the 3.3v regulator is shorted. The number on it reads 1ACMD, I cant find a replacement anywhere.
I was hoping maybe someone on here could suggest a suitable replacement, in the UK preferably.
Thanks in advance!

Re: samsung ht z310 - FAN_CHK error
Yes, I do get +12 at FQ3. It's FQ1 where I get +12 on the emitter, and +8 on the collector.
Strange thing is, its been working fine for the last few hours, powering on/off etc. Only thing I did, was replace R91, on the power supply board, as it was looking a bit burnt....

Re: samsung ht z310 - FAN_CHK error
Ok, I've powered it on/off a few times now to test, and it has only gave the error once so far. I didn't get a chance to check the voltage, as it powered off.
I seem to be getting the 6VDC on the fan connector now, but I still feel that something is wrong, since I did get the error again once.
When I have the the error, the fan seems to be only getting 4VDC.. Strange

Re: samsung ht z310 - FAN_CHK error
12v on the emitter, and 8v, on the collector. It's now decided to work normally. Tho I've had it on running for a while..
I'll leave it unplugged and try again shortly.
