I got this Laptop made by Novatech.
Rasor Pro Uniwill L55II0.
The LCD screen is broken needs to be replaced. I know how to do it, where is good place to buy new or used?

The battery power plug is broke, I have pictures of the motherboard.
Let's look at he caps folks.
What soldering station irons in the UK do you lot buy and from where?

I get my screens off from ebay.

I use hot air to remove the charging sockets. Got a photo of the socket ?

Also what Soldering equipment do you use and how do you remove capacitors from motherboard.

Yeah, those Uniwill laptops are messy as #!*(%. Any 15.6" CCFL screen will work for that one.

I took off the palmrest of the laptop, then I accidently took off a screw part. Then the silver metal came off, I need to stick it back down, it looked like sellotape underneath.

I don't know how to put it back on, it was really difficult.

When I looked at the fan I pulled a bit on it, so there was no touching it. It looked like the out part was touching it when I spun it.
Also when I had the Laptop on it side there noise went away.


I put the cpu fan under a tap, there was a lot of dust on the blades.
So I will let it dry out over night.

Now folks if anyone will reply. I broke the power button ribbon cable to the motherboard.
How do I get a replacement cable??

It is a little cable with blue plastic bits on either ends.

The cpu fan plastic bit broke off side, how do I secure it.

On the three wire fan connector ? a dab of hot glue.
A clearer picture of the FFC would help. You have a ruler ? measure the length and width and the amount of contacts.

0.5mm pitch 6pins forward direction. 10cm should do.
