    acer one ZH9 model no power.

    hello guys.

    need your help i got acer one ZH9 model netbook with no power
    but there is 5v and 3.3v alws.
    no shorted coil.

    what should i check next? tnx

                      Hi all!

                      I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

                      I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                      No Power : Acer Swift 7 Pro (Board model ZDL)

                      Problem : When plugged into power the laptop shows no signs of life but a small periodic tick noise, no battery charging indicator.

                      Observations :

                      - The laptop makes a tick sound at regular intervals when plugged in via the charger.

                      - The laptop negociates with the Power Delivery charger to 20V as expected but shuts back down to 0 then 5 at regular intervals (same as ticking noise)

                      - 4 Ceramic capacitors have 1 Ohm resistance to ground on both poles (Anotated on the pictures)

                      - After removal of the Battery Charging IC short is still...

                      Hello, my laptop was working smoothly, I was getting images via hdmi via the monitor. I ordered a new lcd panel because the LCD screen was broken. After replacing the LCD screen, when I wanted to turn on my laptop, my laptop was dead. Currently, there is no power, no light, no reaction on the laptop, do you think that in this case, could the GPU or CPU of my laptop be burnt? I read in some forums that this kind of error can occur if the LCD screen is replaced while the battery is installed. Unfortunately, when I replaced the LCD panel, my laptop was completely turned off but the battery was installed....

                      Hello,

                      I have re-soldered the loose pins on the RAM slot which is a common fault on these models..

                      It charges and turns on the power LED but is missing several voltages like RAM and CPU do not come up which I believe is due to MAINON & SUSON being missing to turn these supplies on..

                      What I am un-sure of is what is the ITC chip waiting for to send out these signals, what are the requirements?
                      I have checked these lines in diode mode and they seam normal -> 600.

                      I have checked to see if they come on for even a fraction of a second...
