The part is a Delta 8904C-F power controller. I believe it regulates power to displays, but I'm not too sure about that. It apparently needs replacing. Here is a link to buy the product.

No problem. Also, fake capacitors are running rampid in that site.

I depends on which vendor purchases, on aliexpress often buy lots of SMD components for mobile never had problems ..I had problems only with Micro USB connectors poorly constructed and bad.

Okay. At least this isn't a MicroUSB connector you need. LOL.

                Hi All.

I have a very strange issue that I have been trying to fix for a few days now.

                Model: MacBook Pro A1278
                Logic board: 820-3115-B

                Laptop history:
No visible liquid damage/corrosion, but found evidence of other rework (flux) so any signs of liquid may have been cleaned. The laptop went in for a battery replacement but wasn't working afterwards and was deemed unfixable (as told to me by previous owner). Not sure if this was by Apple, or another repair company. The flux found was found around ISL6259HRTZ, so can assume it was replaced...

panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem
                by Vebririon
                Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

Surface Book 2 Performance Base dead

I'm working on a Surface Book 2 performance base (M1032224-004 on white sticker) and would love for some help troubleshooting or where to look next.

The tablet when not connected to the base seems to work fine, but:
                • When tablet is off and connected to the base, it won't turn on.
                • Connecting tablet that is already on to base there is a windows device detected tone (not sure what device), but tablet remains in tablet mode, keyboard/trackpad don't work, and windows continues to report only 1 battery.
                • Charger white light turns on when connected to the base, but base battery and tablet

Dell Latitude 3510 Overheating & Fan Control Issue – Need Help

Dell Latitude 3510 (Intel Core i7-10510U) CPU Overheating

                Issue Description:
                1. CPU Overheating to 100°C
                  • When I start the laptop from a cold state, it takes about a minute to reach temps around 80-90-100°C, and CPU thermal throttling triggers.
                  • When the CPU fan is running at full speed (by disconnecting PWM and TACH cables), CPU temperature stays around 50-60°C.
                  • However, when the fan is connected normally to the motherboard, it does not kick in at high temperatures.
                  • I also noticed a few times that the fan kicked in for a very short time, but it does not stay on consistently.

Hey all, I've been trying to fix a rx570 XFX XXX edition 8gb. Keep in mind I've no knowledge so I've been doing this solely using tutorials. Any help is appreciated.

8pin connector led is open when pc boots, but nothing else happens (no image).
Fans don't spin. Before the gpu broke completely, the fans used to spin at max rpm at the start and there were some wonky things happening in general, so it was probably defective already.
