    Hello guyz,
I noticed that When i connect the charger, there is no +3VALW or +5VALW but when i press the power switch the voltages suddenly appear, The fan spin and after a few seconds all gone. Fan is off and the voltages are gone. I've Changed MAXIM 17020E from a working Motherboard but same situation again. . . .
Now, anyone have any idea. . . ??????

take it apart and check board for any blown components, i would focuse on the charging region, check mosfets as well

        Test these MOSFETS PQ30 PQ31 PQ32
        Components on Page 51
        check pin 22 ,2, 13 of 8731 IC
        check charger_src for 18volts
check gate of PQ30 for volts also test PL14 for volts

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
            by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
            by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Dell Latitude E7440 battery not charging only works on AC Adapter LA-9591P
            by Grucha98
Hi, i have problem with dell E7440, battery is not charging. Idk all story. Original Dell Adapter broken up (its not give 19V) i guess first ac adapter broken up and it broken charging circuit in laptop. Laptop has clone battery (Green Cell)

Laptop works on clone adapter, and its not charging battery. Like on photo. I checked mosfets near battery plug. They are not shorted. But on PQ809 and PQ810 are low on diode mode (both 0.25V) I desoldered them and check on bench and they are good both 0.5V on diode mode. I checked only drain - source way. So its board circuit it should be higher,...

            Dell G3 3579 (LA-F611P) not charging
            by Robocop
            Hey guys,

I've seen several questions about this exact issue, but I've never found the fix, so I would appreciate if we can start over the whole debugging process again from start to finish, for my specific issue.

In the BIOS setup, (see pic) the AC adapter is detected with the correct power rating, the battery is stated as charging (when plugged in, of course), and the battery health is stated as "Excellent" (as expected, since this is a brand new battery purchased a couple of weeks ago). However, the battery never charges (the percentage never increases)....
