Hi guys,
I have a asus x502c which will not power on. It was dropped with the power lead connected, which damaged the DC port. The laptop still seems to charge ok but will not power on. If the power button is held, the charge light goes out, and come back on once the button is released.
I have pulled the board out, and checked the DC port, seems ok, not shorting etc. I ordered a new port to replace it, but since it's still charging, and not powering on, I thought I better see what else needs replaced before I start soldering.
If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
