Re: Rsmreset
RSMRST#
Its done by SIO Super IO chip EC or KBC what evaaa you wanna call it
In a Compal board before RSMRST# its done there are more stages before but i`ll try to get to the point because EVEN if RSMRST# its done and its pinging the signal to SB (SouthBridge) maybe other problems until there or actually there (Southbridge)
In order to have RSMRST# you have to have all the ALW voltage +3v and +5v , BIOS up and running, (i did not saw or not have to do with something like this but apparently you need it) 32 hz on some Clock (frak me if i now why its there) and then you can see output on SIO.
But if you have 3v and 5v ALW most of the problems or done because if you get those, that means you gave power to chipset, memory, etc
WIFI LAN (boot from lan can power up the pc so it needs to have ALW voltage;same crap)
even now i don`t remember why # is there. I do know that its for a state HI state or LO state like when the voltage is low it triger something or when its High.
You need to be all day with this until your head stop to smell like bacon
Advice: get a few manuals (schematics) on your phone and read them all day.
every day i`m reading them until maybe my head stop to smell :P
AAA almost forgot if i wrote something stupid please tell me i`m still learning and this is what i understood(maybe learn bad)
