or a 200W halogen light for 6eur, multimeter with thermo probe and a piece of bold paper on top

i was using it when i start to work on BGA. confirm it work without any problems.

i dig out some old pictures.

i dont recommend using higher walues of lamp. 200W is fairly good enought to not damage the board or components on it. even chip is less heated than with station so it is safe for ati igp that like to die in 220+ celsius.

i see it on youtube video from some it guy from russia. he repaired almost everything with very shitty tools

you have to take it down!

after check the pads then the capacitor!

when you check a capacitor ON the board and its got a short, the capacitor can be good but there is a short in that line with ground!

so take it down and see if the pads where capacitor is are shorted or just the capacitor.

I removed the cap ... the pads still reading 0.01 ohm ""shorted"" .... also PL14 reading short on board .... what to do ??

remove pl14 and check which side is shorted
