NO STUFF for r7093, so not present.

on page 3 there is power sequence.

for me is a bad u7200 as on fase 7 you have P3V3S5_EN that on fase 7 become P3V3S5_EN_l that is present in q7220 and q7221, but on sequence 8 PP3V3_S5_REG no present on l7220, so focus on that page 66

    hope that help

Thank you for helping me, I hope we can figure this out

For U7200 Pin13/EN0 is master enable and it is 0.3v (VO2/PP3V3_S5_REG will be off).

Master enable signal comes from U7941, Pin03, P5V3V3_REG_EN, which is low.
And since U7941 Pin02 is low, this seems correct behavior. Back to SMC 4900 not giving SMC_PM_G2_EN signal.

I checked that Pin14 SMC_BC_ACOK on U7000 is only 2.38v, and I assume this would need to be at least 3v for correct signal to SMC?
Could this explain why SMC will not give SMC_PM_G2_EN? Or should I dismiss SMC_PM_G2_EN for now?

      R5087 has 3.49v on PP3V3_S5_SMC (PP3v42_G3h), and 2.38v on SMC_BC_ACOK side..

try replace u7000, as smc_bc_acok comes out from u7000. and replacing it will probably fix the no magsafe green light

Nice. I have made order for the chip, but it'll take a few weeks, then we see.

remove u7000, connect battery only and see if u have 3.3 volt on 3.3 volt coil try to turn it on and see if it works with only battery.

                  Hello everybody,

                  Perhaps you can help me.

my logicboard 820-3115-b does not start anymore. MagSafe lights green when connected, the battery will not charge.

                  U7000 voltage all pins okay
U6990 pin 3 has over 15 volts but should have about 3 volts right?
when I pin 3 fair the MagSafe Led goes off

what do you think is U7000 & U6990 defect

                        by Rezendes
Hello, I am looking for any and all files related to the mainboard for 820-2565-A (13" Macbook Pro A1278 mid 2012) schematics/board view.

I looked through forum search results and google and was unable to find a board view file, I found a pdf of all the schematics but I don't know where the parts physically are on the board as this is my first macbook board level repair attempt.

The macbook charger has a green light, the battery has been replaced and OS reports Normal status but Not charging. After cleaning a corroded capacitor it crumbled off the board. There...

                        Hi all,
I have an A1278 mid 2012 logic board number 820-3115-B and I have lifted the pads from the fan connector. As I don't have access to another laptop I can't view the board view file. Could someone please tell me where I have to jump the wires to please.

Don't probe Samsung LED conector with LED tester, connect may not make contact afterwards
                        by howardc64
Samsung have been using this style LED connector for few years now

Usually good idea to test the LEDs before opening the panel to change them. I do this without the PSU stil connected. With this connector (white one) have to jam the LED tester probes in the very narrow thin slot where the PSU blade style male prong inserts into. I've done this on many Samsungs without problem until today...

The female terminal inside the white connector has fragile fingers that grabs onto the male blades on the PSU's black connector. If the LED tester probe spreads open...

                        Wson8 spring pin probe WORKS
                        by perfm2
I couldn't find anywhere on the internet where someone had discussed actually using one of these newer wson8 probes for flashing your Wson8 BIOS chip without removing it from the MB.
I recently ordered one to give it a shot and it actually worked quite well.

The tricky part is obviously keeping the probe pins in place on the exposed Wson8 pads of the MB while reading/writing.
I used a larger binder clip attached to the top of the probe to create a large flat surface, then added about 1lb of weight to it.
This aided greatly in allowing the probe to stay in place...
