    Component identification on motherboard MS-15851

    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to identify a component near the LCD connector but I can't find any schematics on this particular motherboard.
Does anyone knows what are its specs?

    Thank you in advance.

The silk screen is with ‘Lxx’ label so this is a smd ferrite bead or inductor. For this case, a ferrite bead to clean up the voltage rail of noise. Technically not a show stopper if it is bypassed. You can short with a trace as this will most likely be the backlight power rail. Suggest to replace the part with a ferrite bead of say 30-600ohms at 2A or more if available. Proceed at your own risk but should be ok to bypass this part.

        Hey mate,

Thank you very much for the explanation! I'll find another ferrite bead to replace this.

        Have a nice day!
