    DA0NJJMBAG0 charging light blinks

    Laptop motherboard DA0NJJMBAG0

    PROBLEM-WHEN I PLUG THE CHARGER WITHOUT BATTERY THE CHARGING LIGHT BLINKS AND WHEN I PRESS POWER BUTTON THE CHARGING LIGHT STOPS BLINKING AND STAYS ON BUT THE POWER LIGHT DOESNT TURN ON AND LAPTOP ALSO DOESNT TURN ON NO FAN SPINS NO KEYBOARD LIGHT.

    CHECKED- ON S5 STATE TGE LAPTOP HAS 5V ON USB 3.3V BUT I DIDNT GET 1.8VOLTS ON BIOS PIN NO 8 WHILE PLUGGED IN AND EVEN ON S5 STATE.

    GUIDE ME WITH THE PROBLEM..

    SUMMARY-
    1.NO 1.8VOLTS ON BIOS PIN NO 8.
    2.S5 STATE ((PRESSING POWER BUTTON)))VOLTAGES ARE PRESENT LIKE 3.3V,5V.

    someone correct me if im wrong but I think this modell does not have an individual CMOS battery and 3V RTC is generated from the battery itself.
    That is why it wont boot up without a battery present. Charging blink usually means there is a power rail problem somewhere.
    Did it worked without battery before it died?

      Could anyone guide me to test power rails with the board view

      Also there is no power 1.8v on bios pin no 8

        1.8V may be generated after pressing power on button.So not likely to be the issue.

        need more info like what rails are present in off state. EC_RST/RSMRST#/RTCRST# etc are present or not.

          Dont know about much but laptop doest go to S0 state stuck at S5 state

              All these signals can be measured on EC aka KBC chip. use boardview to find the exact pin number.

                  Thats not possible my friend as mb is on your table. Just click on the EC on boardview and it'll list all the pins. Watch some YT videos.

                        Checked and found 0 v before pressing power button also after pressing power button.

                          I think since RTC 3V is generated directly from the battery and you have no battery connected, that is why its not turning on.
                          Did it every turned on without battery?? If not then.try getting a battery and turning it on.

                              S5 should be 3V, where did you measured it?
                              Because of the BIOS pin 8# should be directly connected to 3V_S5
