GH5JJ TLA-K701 no charging no power no acdet

    hi
i'm not skilled with laptop repair, i need some helps:

i don't have ACDET on PU1802 and in consequence i don't have ACDRV

    please check pictures

Confirm the voltage on each of the 3 resistors on ACDET (highlighted in yellow).

Red meter probe on the resistor; black meter probe to ground. DC volts (20v or higher scale).

    Report each measurement.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance from pin #2 (where you measured 0V) to ground. What is the resistance in ohms?

Ok - see attached. This should explain your case with a solution.

Summary: Your ADAPDET pin on the power adapter is not supplying the ground (0V) to properly announce the ACDET voltage. See the explanation below and confirm each measurement.

To test, take a piece of wire and touch one side of the wire to ground. Other side of the wire to PQ101 pin #2 (be sure you review where pin #2 on this mosfet is located).

By shorting / pulling the gate voltage to GROUND (0V), PQ101 will turn OFF. Then you will have a valid voltage on ACDET.

Can you check these three points? You can compare the voltage values.

I'm not happy to be so strong. because it's not humanly

                I have only:

                pin 28 - 19v
                pin 6 - 2.5v
                pin 24 - 5.9v
                pin 25 - 5.9v

other pins are all 0 volts

Check REGN, the 6v ldo on the charger, if this is not present you have a faulty BQ, also check if it gets hot, this ic should be quite cold.

PJP101 power jack is important. BQ24780's 15 pin BatPres and REGEN are important. Measurements were taken with and without battery. Can you check?

I don't have the battery because this board is sent from another repair shop and he sent just the board
