Hp DV6-3150SA (Wont Turn On)

Based on what the customer said: "Laptop was working until it dropped".

When power button is pressed, the light on dc jack blinks few times then that's it. No other activity. Light on power button never shows.

I have already reflashed the bios and same issue. Tried a light reflow of gpu and same. When you get a blinking light on dc jack, what does that mean?

BTW, light only blinks when battery is inserted and power button is pressed. When battery is out and power button is pressed, no blinking light on dc jack.

Sounds like a knackered DC jack to me. The flashing usually indicates insufficient voltage / charge in battery.

I've phoned the customer and he said it was working but wasn't charging and now the battery is dead then it fell. F ME!

I'll order a new dc jack and update later.
