From which board? Share a pic of the board location to confirm the function of this part.

It *may* be the TI TPS562208DDCR but need to check if you have the horizontal bar markings.

Suggest to apply alcohol to the top surface to clean off the flux / top side. Then compare the SMD markings of the TPS part with the 2208 markings. Do you also have the bars on the surface? Hard to tell from the posted pic.

The bars are in a different position, is it important? From the data sheet I reviewed TPS562208DDCR, it is viable because the circuit is supplied by 12v 1a

This is the same part (TPS562208DDCR) from TI.

I would replace it and source the original from:

TI.COM website ; often they supply free samples if you sign up for an account
            Digikey
            Mouser
            Arrow

Use Aliexpress only if you must since this part is available through normal distribution.

Sorry, but since you managed to identify it, it took me all morning searching through data sheets and diagrams before asking for help here.

Burned Voltage Regulator in Monitor – How to Identify and Repair?
                by deep000
My computer monitor ASUS VP249H stopped working, and smoke came out of it.
I opened it and found that a voltage regulator had burned out.
The problem is that I can't identify its reference.
I searched online for schematics or photos of similar boards that people are selling, but without success (no schematics, bad quality of the board or lack of the reference when it's a good quality 😅).
How can I find its reference, and do you think it's repairable?
                Monitor: Asus VP249H
                Board reference: 0171 - 2271 - 6083
                Thanks

identify and buy a voltage regulator, Audj833
                by electroelef
                Hi,

I am trying to identify and buy a voltage regulator.
The casing is somewhere between SOT563 and SOT963.
So it's 6-pin. Lenght of the capsule is about 1.2mm and the width 1mm.
                Codes on the capsules are:
AUDJ833 or AUDM633 or AUDK897. All codes are used in the same model of device as a voltage regulator from +5v down to +3v3 so they should be interchangeable.
                pin2 is ground
                pin3 is Vin +5v
                pin6 is Vout +3v3
pin4 is connected through an L to pin6
I spent quite a while looking for a replacement to buy.
                Any help...

Failed to identify SMD component with markings 81 and 947 and package SOT-89
                by digitalDNA
                Hello,

I can't identify a component labeled Q1 on the main board of a redundant server PSU from Etasis, product name EFRP-465

ICs on the board have labels with prefixes U, so we have U1, U2, etc. The mysterious component is labeled Q1, so it must be a transistor (BJT)/MOSFET/etc.

I have attached the image for Q1.
I have searched multiple SMD reference websites without being able to identify the component.

Here is some important information from the board::
                1. Pin 2 and the tab are connected to GND (after unsoldering Q1,...

Help Identifying Component Q2 - Miller d302K 3+12 Diesel Engine Driven Welder
                by jgusta
Hello, I am trying to identify a damaged component on a Miller d302K 3+12 Diesel Engine Driven Welder Voltage Regulator board. The board itself is labeled Assembly # 214954. The board is modular but can't find an easy replacement.

There is a component that is damaged that I cannot identify due to it being damaged. It is marked as Q2 on the board. I've included a link to the technical manual, but it doesn't give much detail, at least none that I can understand.

Can anyone could help me identify this component? I've tried to get as good of a picture of it as I can.
