It seems to me there is a capacitor missing. At that size, you can try a smaller one, like 100nF.

Yes. Thank you. I had resolder from another macbook touchpad (air version) and its works fine. Big up

Hey wwbielsko I would source another Trackpad since they are more readily available and very cheap. If you're missing that component I would source a pre-owned trackpad. Unless you have a spare laying around take a leap!

            Hello Guys,

I am a new member, and I could not find a button to create a new post for my topic, so I am writing in this post instead. I apologize in advance for that.

I need help identifying a component/chip on my MacBook Pro A1707 (2016) motherboard, model number 820-00281. The component is marked in the image attached. Board View and Schematics for the motherboard are here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/docume...tic-board-view

My MacBook is not charging, and the repair technician told me that this particular chip/ic is faulty. However, since it is an old model, they are unable to source a replacement. I am assisting them in searching for and sourcing the chip, but I need to identify it first.

            Thanks in advance!
