Lenovo 300-15IBR - No SYSON, no SUSP#, bunch of missing voltages

Hello, I've been struggling with this one today. I'm troubleshooting a Lenovo 300-15IBR (board BMWC1/BMWC2 NM-A471) that turns on the power LED and does a bit of fan spin but nothing else. 3v3sb and 5vsb present, no 1.05v, no 1.35vddr, no vcore, no 1.8vsb.
BIOS has been reflashed with one I found here, supposedly tested OK by someone else. I don't have an EC programmer unfortunately.
I looked around and SYSON is 0v, SUSP# is 0v too. Forcing them to 3v3 enables the 1.35v rail, but the 1.05v and 1.8v rails are still missing (generated by PU704). EN_1P05A signal is 3.3v, and IN_1P05A is 5v, so I believe everything is there for it to produce 1.05v?
Also the 1.05v rail measures 3 ohms, but the voltage doesn't appear even with the jumper open. Same story with 1.8v.

I would attempt to replace PU704 but the missing SYSON and SUSP signals are also a problem. Any ideas?

Measure resistance to GND on all coils as well as on switched rail side eg 3VS/1.8VS etc.

      1.05v - 3.2 ohm
      1.35v - 1.3k ohm
      1.8v - 1.4M ohm
      3.3v - about 17k ohm
      5v - 100k ohm
      GFX_CORE - 138 ohm
      CPU_CORE - 400 ohm

all on the coils. I'll take a look at the switched rail side later. Thanks for the help

One more thing to add - I kinda have access to a thermal camera now. Do you think it would be worth it to inject 1v through the 1.05va rail and take a look? It's a relatively high resistance for that voltage, but it could be worth a try.

I am more concerned about everything else (no syson voltage etc.) so I would like to know what you think about those missing signals.

3.2 ohms is too low for 1.05V rail. Very likely PCH is damaged .

            Lenovo Yoga 2 13 LA-A921P - missing SYSON
            by jaroslav.psenicka
            Hi all,

I have a LA-A921P here on AC adapter
            • power LED on
            • button SW1 (power) pressed
            • the CPU gets warm
            • fan not spinning
            • no dead short found anywhere
            • +5VALW/+3VALW present
            • DDR_VTT_PG_CTRL is 5V
            • SYSON is 0V
the +0.675VSP and +1.35VP is missing, assuming because of missing SYSON signal
SYSON is not shoted to ground
the SYSON is generated by U51 hope it's not it

Is there anything i can test?

            Many thanks,

            820-02020 PPBUS_AON missing
            by ugamazing
Board had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.

Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),...

Thinkpad E15 Gen2 no SUSP# Signal from EC
            by danny34
            Hello folks,
following problem on an E15 Gen2 with i5 processor (NM-D011):
            Doesn't start
            SUSP - high (5.1V)
            SUSP# - low (0V)

Pin124 (SUSP#) on the EC resistor to GND is 80kohm.

Does anyone know why the EC doesn't output SUSP#?
What requirements do you need to get a high there?

            Thank you!☺

            Asus Zenbook UX431DA / UM431D - Ryzen - missing PWM Fan Signal.
            by gurj1979
            Hey guys.

            Need help with this one.
Fan not spinning due to missing PWN Fan signal.
Also 5 seconds from powering up it freezes, unless in BIOS.
But as soon as Windows starts to load, it will freeze.
CPU is COLD / Room temp when it freezes.

I've replaced the CPU, same problem.
Replaced SIO/KBC IT8987e and reprogrammed - same problem.
            Replaced fan - same problem.
Replaced flex cable from board to daughterboard (which has fan connector on it) - same problem.
Checked the Thermal sensors around CPU and Board to the SIO/KBC and...

Hello. I would need some advice please.

My son's MBP suddenly stopped working and is now only getting the green-then-orange light on Magsafe and no fan spin.
He brought the MBP into the house (22 deg C) from a very cold conservatory (-3 deg C) and turned it on straight away. The Mac suddenly died a few minutes later.

I examined the logic board and couldn't find any signs of water damage, corrosion, blown up components etc. Nothing was ever spilt on it, and the logic board looks immaculate.

I have already replaced the logic board with another...
