Macbook Pro A1297 white screen with artefacts

Hi, i have this macbook pro 17" that have white screen i show apple logo with artefacts. I try to change RAM and turn on widouth HDD. Is this a GPU fail?

Definitely GPU. No external monitor testing required. What GPU does it have exactly?

i think nVIDIA i do not have the macbook currently at my home. There is no external connector

if it is a Macbook Pro A1297 It has a mini display port for external monitor

try to reflow on black video ram on gpu side.
before replace gpu.
