Macbook A2141 820-01700 board is getting power but not starting. Dead SSD?

    Hi all,

i have a Macbook 2019 pro which is not booting. Inspecting the board i had lots of dust and some corrosion in the U9080 area. I cleaned everything and looked for shorts and other visible problems.
I put everything back together and my USB tester showed 20v, 3.5a and 71w without booting or any fanspin. After several trys i was able to get into DFU mode but revive and repair both don't work and i get a error message (AMRestoreErrorDomain - 0x6 (6)
My thermal cam shows that ne NAND SSD on one side of the board have around 50c (the whole area here is heating up) and the other side of the board stays cool. Is there anything else i can check or try?

Share pics of the TPS62180 as per this shared video. iBoff, I believe, offers the service to replace the TPS62180 & NAND devices. Not sure of the costs. If this board is about to end up in the landfill, why not attempt the repair? Does not look like a fun one to work on. Nasty engineering by Apple. To save a few pennies and rush the product to the market without proper QC and testing.
