Hi,
My friend has an old iphone 6 plus (dead by liquid damage long time ago), no previous repair trials have done.
i opened it the first time yesterday.
My observations ;i am doing reparing things as a hobby, not as a professional
1- the liquid damage indicator on top is red, the one on the side still white.
2- no obvious corrosions or blown component (i removed all shields).
3- no short on pp_batt_vcc neither on vcc_main.
4- when connecting the charging cable: with the battery connected it draws 440mA fixed, when battery disconnected it flactuate between 30-80mA.
5- when disconnect everything from the logic board and connect the power supply to battery socket it draws 0 amper, when pressing the power button amperage goes to 90mA then 1-2 second later goes to zero again.
does it meaning something or i am approaching in the wrong way? do you have any advice?
thanks in advance.
