How to remount this standoff ?

I was fixing my notebook/laptop computer and the motherboard/mainboard/systemboard standoff which is for securing the bracket that also holds the fan fell off. I would like to know what I can use to re-attach it to the
mainboard/motherboard/system board. It seems to be some kind of electrical conducting adhesive as it has continuity when I tested the dried out adhesive as it is probably used to ground. Does anyone know where
I can buy the electrical conducting adhesive online that is strong? Failing that, will first melting solder on the bottom of the standoff first and then position it back on the motherboard/mainboard/systemboard and then
placing the soldering iron on the top of the standoff cause the solder to melt so it bonds?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Just clean the surface of screw hole ,put some good quality flux and use solder iron to put it back and apply fresh solder to mount it strongly.

i often use hot air, set temp to 400 and wind speed at 3.3 (with maximum scale is 8) and i use normal solder wire (0.5 or 0.6mm) which i formed into a ring to around the standoff and a bit of good flux

      this is how i do:
      - i isolate the flow of hot air using alumunimum tape to prevent other component around standoff to get direct contact with hot air
      - apply flux to the board
      - place the standoff
      - place solder wire around the standoff as close as possible to standoff, you don't want to get melting solder wire flying away to other component nearby
      - when all the solder wire melt it will flow to bottom and side of the standoff if not try to wigle the standoff a bit
      - after solder get to bottom and side of standoff, press and hold the standoff gently then remove hot air and wait until the solder harden then release
      - observe the position of the standoff against the board it must perfectly vertical
      - finish

tips: don't use solder paste, it can enter the screw hole and you can't tighten the screw when it harden inside (learned the hard way 😁 )

The screw hole unless you meant the motherboard where H55 is not the issue as remember the solder needs to go on the bottom of the standoff and the top of H55 on the motherboard which is the solder joint but there is no way to get the soldering iron between the two parts as those are the parts that need to be joined together so do you mean to put flux on the top of the motherboard but how will I get the solder so it it does not not go outside the diameters of the standoff?

I dont know how to explain it to you but it takes just 30 seconds to fix that for me.

If you look at the photo at the top, the motherboard does not actually have a hole on the other side. The photo on the right is just the bottom of the piece which I am calling the standoff that came out. If there was a hole on the otherside of the motherboard, it's obvious that it can be soldered on the other side. Backside photo means backside or bottom of the standoff, not backside of motherboard. I didn't realize the standoff actually had a hole that made it to the other side as I only briefly looked at it and kept it in a safe place so I will not lose it. But basically I want to put the piece on the left to where H55 is. Where exactly would I put the tip of the soldering iron since I only want solder on the bottom of the left piece which would be on top of H55 on the right, I'm trying to prevent solder from getting into the hole or the screw threads.

Best way to solder LVDS connector for beginner (and qfn) ?
              by corrize
Hello, I'm a beginner for micro soldering. Right now I have some difficult to solder a qfn 20, I guess I put too much solder on the thermal-ground pad, the result is a corner of chip wich don't touch the board (last try).

I use a wire solder with hot air, I tin the board and chip before with iron and I use good flux.

I will have to solder a LVDS connector (40 pins, laptop pc), I saw a solder paste in seringe, good quality (it does not scatter).
              See the test :

With hot air from bellow the board, that's...

UV solder mask - high temp resistent, recomendation?
              by myth77
Can someone recommend any good UV solder mask? But i need a solder mask that will stand high temperetures. The thing is...sometimes i have a bigger cooper ripped from the board, lets say mosfet pad... i reconstract it with cooper sheet, then i "glue it" with solder mask...then i use UV light...and let it cool a bit. After, i try to clean the cooper of extra solder mask..and till that part all is ok. But, when i use a soldering iron to solder that pad/cooper...the solder mask gets weaker or destroyed and finally the pad is ripped again from the board .
              Is there any solder mask...

BGA solder balls not connecting - help pls
              by petemanuk
So I though in my spare time I’d set myself up repairing motherboards mainly pin damaged lga1151 sockets types.

I’m using an achi ir sc pro rework station (gave up on my Achie ir6500 - don’t recommend)

I’ve managed to get my rework profile somewhere in the correct region (after a lot of trial and error) to get the old sockets off and reflow new ones back on again, the problems I’m getting is not all of the solder balls are re-attaching when re-flow occurs. I know this because when socket is removed pads still look clean and have no solder...

              iMac Display Replacement Adhesive
              by Katz993
TL;DR: Looking for as-close-to-genuine as possible iMac Thin Panel (2012-2019) Adhesive.

Long Rant: I run a tech shop that has a specialty in Macs. We've been doing upgrades and repairs on the thin panel iMacs as long as they've been out, and I've always had the issue of being unable to get something close to the OEM Adhesive for the Display Assembly, i.e. a 'two-part' adhesive, extremely thin but durable and can be cut easily with a thin wheel cutter. My replacement adhesive has always been essentially standard thin adhesive. For a long time, the biggest annoyance with this was having...
